Getting Aggressive in a Neon Dynasty Flashback Draft | LSV | MTG Arena 

Can't get enough of the lsv vids but the mtg arena interface drives me nuts when watching streams of it. I wish it showed the text on cards like mtgo

​@@jtirexthis isn't from a stream. Honestly no reason for a camera... Not sure where this trend of direct-to-RU-vid content adding webcam came from. It's for purposes of live interaction, which doesn't apply to this format. See Caleb Gannon for a good example on the contrary.

@@jtirex Yeah, I also have a very Arena-specific gripe that annoys me to no end: Why did they have to program exploding lights, rainbow-colored rays and shit on top of the cards when you play them and it zooms? Sometimes it's hard to read the cards even when paused, because there is so much crap on top of the text. Like... just show us the card clearly. There are already animations for cool cards.

Which is even worse since he was so bad at piloting it. Just constantly throwing away extra samurai and still had infinite more.

@@Jermo484 They didn't pilot poorly at all. Playing around combat tricks by blocking with lots of guys when you're as far ahead in resources as they were makes complete sense. Sure you lose material if they have nothing, but the only way you lose is by getting blown out by a channeled +3/+1, or whatever.

@@MineRoyale. Except they did it multiple times. In situations where they'd still have been far ahead. And when if LSVs last card was a combat trick, they win anyway. The most egregious is when they could have just traded the 3/4 and even a combat trick is irrelevant since it's still just a 1 for 1. Opponent played horribly.

And his opponent didn’t win the match after doing it. Hate playing against invoke despair huh?

@@joshuagriffith9191 because his deck sucked. The card is still insanely broken. A card with that much upside absolutely shouldn't have no fail case where you get all the value no matter what. It's awful design. It's literally magnitudes stronger than the others in the cycle. It literally ruined standard until it got banned.

@@Jermo484 That’s all opinion though. I feel standard has been unplayable since they banned invoke and fable. They only banned one deck and balanced none of the other broken strategies. It’s confirmed my reasons for sticking to modern as my main constructed format.

@@Jermo484 lol. No. I played grixis or rakdos in standard with mostly 1 for 1 removal. I play death’s shadow in modern. I like playing grindy controlling midrange decks. So I usually play on hard mode. It’s more fun that way. But part of playing on hard mode is you have to be able to play things that catch you will just lose every game. Similar to aggro trying to play only 1 drops. Just reverse.

Neo flashback draft was running last week.

They presumably knew they were dead and decided to rope.

They’re doing a premiere draft in August that sounds like it’ll be a grab bag draft so that sort of like that.

There are plenty of those to keep you occupied

As long as he keeps drafting I'm happy lol

But none of those players are LSV, love seeing how he plays the current events.
