@@FoolishOne7 u got this! Got mines out about over a month ago now, and it wasn’t too bad. Although, I have to say, was not expecting drooling so much, cause my lips were still numb after and I couldn’t close my mouth very well hahaha 😂
I’m on day 3 but my wisdom teeth haven’t stopped bleeding. I went back on day 2. They said it was fine and I should continue to apply ice packs and take antibiotics. But noticed the more I apple ice packs the more it bleeds. I’m having trouble eating and takin the meds cause of the blood taste. It feels as if my throat closes up. Something that worries me is the blood clot has formed on top and next to the adjacent teeth. My cheeks are so swollen that it’s purple.
If you’re reading this before getting your wisdom teeth removed the best thing you can do is over prepare for it. For anyone reading this, I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on 28th March 2023. I had them all extracted no surgery only numbing needles. Also the top things you should buy or have are as follows;PAIN KILLERS AND ANTIBIOTICS - Ice packs, scarf or something to hold the ice packs to your face comfortably so you don’t have to hold them yourself- cold soft food and salt for saltwater rinse. Paper-towels. Here’s my personal advice written as best as possible. 1. First day, keep your gauze in for at least 30minutes to an hour, when removed if still bleeding replace gauze for a further hour or until no longer bleeding much. (You will still taste blood it doesn’t mean that it’s not formed a clot yet a small bit of blood and lots of saliva is normal for first few days. do not rinse your mouth at all and try not to eat at all if possible for your first day (if very hungry try to have something semi cold, like yogurt or custard or pudding etc. drink water by letting it pour into your mouth (very small mouthfuls) and let it go to back of your throat and then swallow. BEST THING I CAN SAY ESPECIALLY FOR THE FIRST DAY IS TO SLEEP! Set up your bed comfortably in a way that you will sitting/laying in a more upright position and with pain killers etc just sleep as much as you possibly can it becomes very hard when pain kicks in. 2. The pain will be bad and possibly even excruciating for at least the first 3-4 days. If your pain is very bad and last longer than 5-6 days call or see your dentist/doctor. 3.it’s normal that can’t open your mouth much or close your mouth properly, this will improve after day 5-6 in my case. 4. Warm salt water rinse after every time you eat or if pain feels very bad (don’t swish-just tip your head side to side and then don’t spit just let it run out of your mouth) paper towels are your best friend (you can use them to carefully wipe extra saliva etc off your tongue. 5. Just eat food that is comfortable for you, you can eat very cold food but don’t eat hot food as this can hurt and also dissolve your clot. Don’t drink from a straw, don’t spit, don’t smoke anything for at least 3-4 days. If smoking after that time do a salt water rinse after every time you smoke. Don’t eat or drink foods that are too acids such as lemons, sauces ketchup etc and if you didn’t already know research WHAT IS DRY SOCKET AND HOW DO I PREVENT IT 6. Ice packs on side of your cheeks/face for at least for 30 minutes on 30 minutes off for the first few days and then a few times a day after that until swelling is feeling a lot better (I used to sleep with ice packs wrapped in a soft scarf tied around my face softly overnight because it was such a relief. 7. I was able to semi brush my teeth after the 3rd day. Brush your teeth carefully, front focusing and on sides (not on or over or too close to extraction sites) with a pinky finger nail amount of toothpaste and use the salt water rinse to rinse toothpaste out (don’t forget to brush your tongue) keeping the mouth clean is essential to the healing process and if you can’t brush yet just do your best and stay on top of the warm salt water rinses. FINALLY A FEW LAST THINGS I WANT TO LEAVE YOU WITH; It will get better I promise, look after yourself, rest up, follow dentist instructions, pain may be gone one day and back the next, ice pack again and rest and use pain killers for first few days and sparingly after that (ALSO MAKE SURE you drink plenty of water and stay hydrated as painkillers or pain meds can also cause constipation which isn’t nice to have on top of wisdom teeth removal) find a smoothie with fibre in it (like green smoothies) they will help you go to the toilet). Thank you and I wish everyone the best of luck and hope my words help at least one person through this tough time) good luck! 😊
Great infos. Thanks. I had mine pulled just 8 days ago. Local anesthesia, not sedated. Only had the pain the first day. I was surprised that the pain wasn't bad. I had a great Dr. He pulled all 4 in about 20 mins. I didn't even fill up my prescription for pain. I only took ibuprofen. I should have use the ice pack as instructed for the first 24 hrs, I didn't so now my gums are swollen other than than everything is going well so far. Can't wait to get back to eating regular food. Hopefully in about 2 weeks. I'm been very careful not to have any infection or dry socket.
Hey there? Are you watching this video before you need to get your wisdom teeth out and are scared to do it? Let me tell you I waited until I was 26 and I had so much pain on a day to day basis because of the impacted jacked up side way’s wisdom teeth. Be put to sleep it’s like a flash. You will be fine I promise don’t let it go!
just got mine out and i’m one day post op but no pain at all!!!! probably 10% 20% swollen but I also got the exparel shot on my lower gums before surgery . It was $300 for that shot but so worth it cus i’m ready to go out 😂😢
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out at one time. I was stressed out about the pain but it dosnt hurt at all. I’m on day 4 my cheeks are still a little swollen and I’m a little sore. Don’t worry about getting them out. You got this!
Did ur doctor stitches your wound after the surgery because my daughter didn't get the stitches and doctor didn't told us any until we got home and found out thanks. My daughter xray look same as your extract both lower end wisdom teeth.
Just got all 4 of mine removed today at 2:30pm . Right now its 3 am playing video games no pain at all god bless for the rest but dont be nervous its a pretty funny experience god bless everyone reading this you got this !!
I really wish I did this at least before I turned 18+ years old I don’t care what these dentist say about you not needing your wisdom teeth pulled I truly feel like it should be mandatory!!!! Because for me NOT having the procedure done when I could have been done and when it was NON LIFE THREATENING guess what now it’s life threatening nobody wants to touch the tooth back then I could stay awake and have it done now I have to be put to sleep 50% chance things could go extremely wrong!!!!
I am 41 years old and I got to get my two back tooth wisdom out and I will be going in surgery July 17. I feel like I can do it just keep me in your prayers.
How did it go for you? I’m 41 as well and got 3 removed plus an coronectomy. This is day one for me. I put it off for years due to my extreme fear of the dentist. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve done it as a teen.
I got all mine out 3 days ago and honestly no pain, the only thing bothering me is not being able to eat normally 😭😭 i would kill for rice and some meat
Just curious, what if you are wearing retainer. It must be hurt to wear your retainer days after the surgery. is it okay to skip retainer for a week until the pain is totally gone?
I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on yesterday, and when say the pain was unbearable the first day, it was!! I hate I waited so long, but I can tell a big difference with the space I have in my mouth now. My bottom teeth were impacted the most. I’m glad it’s finally over! 🙌🏽
Currently in my first day after surgery and my face is SO swollen I look like I have 6 months of food in my cheeks 🐿️ , so so grateful for this content Kris thank youuuuuuu from the bottom of my heart ❤
I got all my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I will say some people on the internet just want to see are you. I was mostly afraid for the IV but it didn’t hurt at all. A lot of people are also scared of spilling tea when they are on anesthesia, but I just kept calling my sister a goober and talking about how I was going to marry my celebrity crush 💀Another thing is recovery, after I got home I was just sleepy and my head hurt a little but that was the worst of it. I was really just agitated bc my bottom lip was still numb and I wanted to eat everything lol. But honestly h th ere is no reason to be scared, I believe in you guys! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🦷
I am not sure now, my wisdom teeths area has small inflammation and has not been aching since i ate some medications. I have exams in some days and need days to study too. Watching this video made me wanna delay the procedure till i get my exams done.
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed plus my 2 front molars for braces. During the operation i only had laughing gas and the doctor gave me numbing with needles. Everything was fine at first and i was not worried until all the numbing went away in my face except for one area. From that procedure I had gotten nerve damage. I am now on my 10th day and I still cannot fill my lip, teeth or chin on the right side of my face. I was in total disbelief because they did not tell me that this could happen. I spent all night looking online and read others people experiences and they have said that they either got there feeling in that area back in a couple of months and some said its been 4+ years and they still feel numb. I searched online for th doctor sname that did my teeth removal and found his number online. Called him and he said that that is "normal" which totally isnt btw. And he said he might have damaged a nerve by the insigions he made numbing me. He said that it takes a while for nerves to heal. I just hope it heals soon. I tried to fix one thing that made me insecure which is my teeth. Just for it to bring me another one which is this.
Thank you so much for this video! Im going into hospital on 3rd June to have my remaining 3 removed, two of them I will need stitches for , eek!! Your video helped me feel less scared, really just want it over with after a year of pain. When you brought out the headband and ice it made me smile because I have over prepared and bought an ice pack headband just for the removal, and everyone has been laughing at me for it. Even more happy I bought it now 🤣💖 Thank you again. I will probably watch your video again on the day to help me feel leas scared too.
Thank you so much for your video! Its soooo helpful! I too have been postponing this surgery and I will get it done in one month. This helps me know what to do :)) thanks
Just got all 4 sets out and it hurts! I am on day 2 and pain has somewhat subsided. No matter what you do, please DO NOT sip, spit, eat hard foods, smoke, or anything that can damage your teeth/mouth!
Just got my bottom 2 pulled today and I’m in so much pain and feel so much soreness… I’m now 31 but when I got my upper 2 removed at 23 years old I went out partying that same night I definitely feel like getting them removed sooner than later is best I can’t even explain the pain and soreness I’m feeling and part of my mouth is still numb from the anesthesia
I had mine out 5 days ago and it was my second surgery. Only took them like 25 mins surprisingly. I woke up just fine and I was chatting to the nurses. Pain hasn’t really been bad at all except during the night. I’m eating solids now which is great!
I just got my wisdom teeth removed today! I did get wheeled out and was crying a little bit Hahaha the dr said it was the sedation but i'm feeling better so far. As of rn a little swelling but not so much. We'll see how i feel tomorrow, everyone has been saying that day 2-3 are the worst 🤕 BUT im taking my meds and hopefully all goes well. Im glad everything went well for you!
I also felt you when you said how much it sucks to recover when the weather is good. This week is nothing but sunshine (even at the beach which is pretty rare) but I’m stuck inside my house 😭
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago and I am only 12 years old! I have lots of swelling on my face and I hope I feel better. I think day 2 was the hardest and today is day 3 which is not that bad and painful to me. Well I am glad everything worked out good for you!
@@gilmoregals I had all 4 out at the end of November. Just make sure you take your Advil and Tylenol on a regular schedule & keep your face iced The worst part for me was eating liquids for a week. I got so sick of blending soups and drinking smoothies lol I did not have dry sockets and I was extra careful to not get them. They prescribed me nausea medicine and some prescription painkillers in case of intense pain, but the pain was manageable.
I just got 2 wisdom teeth out today from both sides and I’m also 12 and I’ve been warned that day 2 will be so hurtful.. IS IT TRUE?. I dont wanna wake up tmr feeling bad
@@Myya_yt Don’t worry, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out about a week and a half ago. I had MINIMAL pain. The worst part will be day 3 or 4 since that’s the peak of the discomfort but there is barley any bothering. If I was fine with 4 taken out you will be okay with 2 taken out trust me 👍
Currently on day 5 after getting all four removed still have discomfort on just one side 🤧 ive being able to get salmon/tilapia down also rice i would recommend if you want cereal let them soak for a while and then eat it cut your banana in small pieces, oatmeal is good rinse your mouth with saltwater at nights but not hot water just a tad warm will help as well
I just had mine taken out today, had 3 removed and I went with the twilight IV. No loopiness, just one moment I was conscious the next I wasn't. Now I just have soreness I am dealing with. Nothing too bad just avoiding hard foods, sucking on straws, and sweets since I am afraid to brush and tear the stitches.
You don't look that bad! I was swollen from the first day! I got 2 taken out on my left side and my cheeks are swollen and my neck. I look like I got mumps! I can't believe you got all 4 taken out! wow. I'm on my second day.
I got my wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago and watching ur video made me feel so much better because the pain and swelling is the worst. I just have to be patient and relax.
@@DindoPenuliar, in my opinion, the pain is the worst the second day. The bleeding sucks on the first day tho, I'm on day three and can almost open my mouth fully but I'm getting a tooth ache so I'm scared I developed a dry socket.
@@DindoPenuliar I got mine out 5 days ago, first 2 days super easy no pain, Last 3 days have been the worst for me hardly sleeping and waking up in pain every hour , slowly getting better but that's my experience currently
My experience so far - hope this helps anyone getting their wisdom out Day 1- just before the torture-Eat a big meal before surgery as if your on death row. Mine was extracted by general aesthetic. Lots of tugging , drilling and a grown man ripping my cheek apart! (Literally) took around 30mins to extract 1 tooth. No pain during surgery- just VERY uncomfortable and felt a ton of pressure. Kids, if you never taken drugs well now is your time to shine! I took pain killers an hour after surgery as pre caution and took pain killers every 4 hours. The bleeding didn’t stop for 6 hours after surgery so visited the torture house again, they checked it and said it’s nothing to worry about. REMEMBER to use a WET gauze for 30mins & then leave the gauze OUT and see if it clots on its own. Worked a treat for me On tonight’s delicious menu: soup cooled down, water, yogurt. - force yourself to shove some baby like food down & take tiny sips of water!! Later that evening I had sore throat and face started to swell like a balloon. Used ice on cheeks. The bleeding went down during the night on its own. No beauty sleep, I slept upright, which was very uncomfortable. Stack 2 pillows & Buy a travel neck pillow! Day 2- Prepare to look like Quagmire or the botched jaw filler look! Sore throat but no pain. Got a fever, Nasty blood taste in mouth but no active bleeding.. Fine wine and dine: porridge, rice pudding, ice cream, soup and sipped on lots of water throughout the day. Been taking pain killers every 6 hours through out the day. I managed to brush some of my pearly whites very carefully, Avoiding the site of extraction . (This made me feel better) Beauty sleep was better than the night before but still uncomfortable & kept waking up. Slight pain 4/10 at night. Remember to take a shower & do your skin care- trust me you will feel ALOT better Day 3 - Wednesday - still rocking the botched jaw filler look. throat is very sore, voice is gone, blocked nose, headache. Think I got a cold. Fever has gone down. Nasty taste in mouth. Done salt and water rinse (check on RU-vid how to). Meal of choice: soft foods, drank the whole ocean, cold matcha tea. VERY IMPORTANT-salt rinse after each meal- and after brushing Only taken 2 pain killers. Pain level is like when you bite into your cheek. Day 4- woohoo, survived the worst-blotched jaw filler still intact. Still got a cold and cough. I Used Vicks in hot water and breathed in the steam to clear the mucus. Slept like a baby- but now got bad neck pains (due to sleeping upright) On tonight’s menu: Wonderful soup, mash, lots of water, and tub of ice cream! Now in rehab & taken no pain killers. Still brushing my teeth like a 1 year old. Challenged myself and even tried a bit of flossing, jaw hurts so can’t open mouth that wide Day 5- botched jaw filler is slowly going down (Hoorayyy) mild pain today. Still have sore throat so swallowing is a challenge! Felt dizzy and weak Took 1 pain killer with food this morning. I’m still quite ill with a cold. If I didn’t catch a cold I think everything would have been 10x easier! Can open mouth slightly wider so was able to brush a lot better. Noticed white stuff on the site and around the extraction which (according to google) is a good sign. Also noticed the stitches are starting to come loose, which again according to google , can happen and nothing to panic Food: beef pate (we getting fancy) mash, soup- drank tiny sips of water every hour (hurts to swallow but don’t want to be dehydrated!) Had the best sleep ever! Don’t need to sleep upright anymore. REMEMBER - your body is your temple so do some light stretches. Hopefully I can take a walk tomorrow if the swelling goes down more :) if you have a garden, don’t be shy and pop your head out for some fresh air
This was so helpful and nicely written. I am on day two and botched jaw filler look, mumps type is real. I am sad because of how disfigured it looks and there is constipation and whole head hurts even after painkillers. I hope it gets better tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to day 5 and the semblance of normality!
@@pratishadash946 you got this!! Just another day or two & trust me you will start to feel a lot better! Keep taking small sips of water & keep up with the pain killers
This is so beautiful written😭god I had my 2 wisdom tooth pulled yesterday and can’t swallow anything properly, it really hurts bad, how I wish I could reach day 7 asap
@@Bro_weneedgod omg! Dw it will go quick. You won’t remember the pain. Keep taking your pain meds and sleep in up right position for the next two nights. And keep taking small sips of water if u can to stay hydrated as you can’t eat
Omg I am just as swollen hahah I got my 4 removed on Thursday I’m on day 3 now, letting the swell just heal on its own. By far this is probably the worse experience I’ve had to go through yet lol 😅 Avoid eating foods steaming hot like that, it’ll increase your chances of getting infections
Hi Kris, I’ve been watching your videos for years. I had my teeth removed two months ago. I’ve always had a bit of lock jaw but after my surgery I experienced it a LOT more for weeks after. Lots of teeth grinding too. A mouth guard from the pharmacy might help if you experience this.
I’m going through this process in a few weeks, thank you so much for giving me a prototype of what I’m about to experience‼️Thank You for Normalizing this Process for Me‼️
I’m so terrified I get all mines taken out the 20th next month they’re gonna put me to sleep my teeth are still under my gum haven’t erupted… I’m 21 n they said it has a risk of nerve damage idk if that was just a risk they stated or something I’ll have to face I’m debating on not doing it bc of the fact I don’t wanna take nerve damage risk and as well I’m feeling pain it went away last year they told me get rid of then I didn’t this year they started bothering me so I went ahead scheduled the apt n am totally not wanting to go
Thank you for sharing your recovery process. What day does the pain become bearable with the pain meds? I'm 25 and all of mine are severely impacted and horizontal 😭
I just gotten mine out yesterday! Everybody is different, usually the first few days are the worse. Hopefully you can get them out and prevent infection. Always best to get it all taken out at once & that way you don’t have to go through it again! :)
@@TheLemonLily Yes all 4 of mine is impacted! I am still swollen (Post Op Day 2) Do not be scared and just follow your dr post-op instructions and you'll be fine!
Just got one of my mine taken out 5 days ago and another one taken out last year. With taking the pain meds it’s definitely bearable! Coming from someone with low pain tolerance. However having my bottom one removed did hurt more than having my top one removed. Best of luck! It’s not so bad main annoying thing is not being able to eat things I normally would for a few days
@@dphamily2 how did it go did u have nerve damage same exact thing I’m 21 they’re removing all 4 why I’m sleep and told me the risks now I’m not wanting to go threw with it I’d rather deal with pain then nerve damage in my mouth unable to feel it and taste
I haven't seen the dentist in over 6 years and I finally got to go because of my husbands benefits. Turns out I'll be getting my 4 wisdom teeth out! Theres no date set yet but I'm going back in for fillers. I'm actually pretty excited lol. Age 24 here! 😁
I'm also 24 and had a similar situation, just got mine out yesterday! I was super worried about it but I was able to work from home today because other than the swelling, it's not so bad. You got this!!
Also hadn’t been to the dentist for 6 years, when I finally got my sh!t together and got an appointment at 24 years old. I’m now 25 and have now had 3 wisdom teeth removed, two yesterday and one months ago. In two weeks I’m due for the removal of the last one. Not looking forward to this swelling again😅
@@DancingBeauty98 Thank you! After all 4 of mine were removed I got zero swelling and zero pain! Only slight discomfort after 3 days and it lasted for about 4-5 days!
Ha just got mine out two days ago. Local anesthesia because I was scared to go under. My face is puffy but not too much pain. I look like droopy the dog.😂 It sucked but it’s necessary. Thanks for sharing ❤
I still don't understand why my face didn't swell. Had local anesthesia only, had pain for the first 24 hrs. Only took ibuprofen. I work as customer service rep, went back to work after 3 days. Was able to talk for 6.5 hrs. 30 mins break after every 2 hrs. My only problem now is that my gums are swollen so I'm taking ibuprofen for that.
@@DindoPenuliar right after anesthesia wears off, it’s a 5/10. Painful but tolerable. I went to drop my paperwork into my workplace right after and went to a job interview the next day. After taking a nap and taking an extra strength ibuprofen, the pain was less than 1/10 and it only hurt when I had to open my mouth wide to eat. Not bad at all. I would gladly do it again.
@@DindoPenuliaru will feel nothing during surgery ,after the anesthesi has gone you will start feeling pain, and it depends bc on my first wisdom teeth i felt nothing a bit of pain but the second one i felt so much pain during the first day after that you will have to deal with swolling and nausea (i really suffered from neasea for like 3days for both you can't move fast or walk without help, and i still remember on my first surgery when i came back home i fainted bc i didn't thought you should really REST ) That was my experience as an 18 years old But what can i say is after one week it's like nothing happened you'll be back to ur normal life (Excuse any spelling mistakes english is not my first langage) Wishing you the best❤

Kris! Omg I was kind of in shock that you replied to my message the other day after recovering from getting your wisdom teeth out! This was really fun to watch and I'm glad you're feeling all better~ I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 18, right before the roots started to develop so it was quick and easy. This video will definitely help those that are getting their teeth pulled at an older age, but man that must have been so tough for you. Love what you're doing and keep it up girly! ❤ (also for those that have questions for wisdom teeth extractions, I am a surgical assistant so I can answer post-op questions if you have any! Happy healing hehe)
Unfortunately I am already 25, I heard that's the latest to remove wisdom teeth... Mine are horizontal and all of them are bony impacted. Is it safe to remove all at once? I'm afraid the pain won't be manageable since the impacted ones hurt more!
@@TheLemonLily I'm 25 and I took all 4 of them out at once plus my right canine because it was still a baby tooth. Now I have a gold chain implanted to pull down the adult one. You're still young. It took me 2 weeks to fully heal. Eating and yawning will be difficult but everyday you will see some improvement.
@@lalylaines8510 you can use toothpaste! Just make sure to avoid brushing directly onto the surgical sites. You will want to swish gently with warm salt water to help clean the areas you can’t reach.

i am going to remove both of my impacted wisdom teeth in the lower jaw on Tuesday 13. december. Since I'm terrified of this surgery, I'm going under general anesthesia. Thanks for making this vlog
@@shaheenbegum5814 More problems after the surgery of my wisdomteeth removal. The operation went well, I was under general anesthesia and was told that it was quite nice, simple wisdom teeth and to operate out. Already the day after the operation, I had swollen up heavily on my right side and had a hard lump on that side. Lots of pain, nausea and vomiting. Difficulty opening the mouth due to the swelling and lump. 2 days after the operation I had a nasty taste in my mouth, the same 3 and 4 days after the operation. The pain started to increase 3 days after the operation with severe pain radiating up to the ears. On day 4, I see the swelling on the left side has gone down nicely and the stitches on the left side looked fine. On the right side, on the other hand, I can see that the swelling is a little less, but the bullet I had on my cheek was still just as big, causing a lot of pain and gaping problems for my mouth. After the weekend I contacted the dentist on Monday 19 December because I wondered if I could have dry socket or inflammation. Was told it was most likely an infection, so I had to take antibiotics for 5 days. Later in the evening I discover that pus is coming up from the stitches and had to go to the emergency room. He cleaned up a bit and told me to go on antibiotics for a total of 10 days. Today, Tuesday 20 December, I spoke to the oral surgeon who said I had to go on another course of antibiotics for 5 days (Flagyl) and wanted me to make an appointment with the dentist to have a rinse with saltwater to try and empty if possible. The dentist had spoken to the oral surgeon on the phone before I arrived and agreed on a plan. The dentist rinsed with salt water and drained a little, but I still have a painful hard lump which the dentist thinks is inflammation and pus that has spread to a new area. He could not empty this. I was told to wait a couple of days to see if the ball gets bigger, if the swelling gets worse, if the general condition gets worse, I had to contact the dentist or the emergency room and be sent up to where I had the operation to open, drain and clean everything.
I got my wisdom teeth out today and they had a treat finding a screw in my pallet lol. But I will say it's been chill. I've been taking a lot of Tylenol and keeping ice packs on my face, eatjng ice cream/mashed potatoes, sleeping, and watching videos. I'll say it's weird to talk right now lol. I'll keep updating.
Hiw do you feel now ?! I had to get out my wisdom teeth too, this is my third day i feel pain in my head, ear i can say this side of the head that i removed wisdom teeth i feel a lot of headech pain. Only painkillers are helping me, i take painkillers after every six hours. I dont know if this is normal, maybe something went wrong, i really don't know.
I’m 35 years old and just now going to get them removed, I have my surgery on the 18. Let me say I am terrified. My biggest fear is never waking up from the anesthesia a little dramatic I know but it’s honestly my biggest fear. Wish me luck.
I'm 39 and just had 4 wisdom teeth removed today. The anesthesia isn't that bad and you will be fine. They even can offer you laughing gas for your stress
I’m getting mines done next month the 20th am terrified as well not bc going under anesthesia but the nerve damage risk and of course the issues with anesthesia my biggest fear is definitely permanent memory lost and permanent nerve damage bc of this I’m debating on not doing it n dealing with crooked teeth and the pain bc I don’t wanna risk my face being numb the rest of my life

I got all my wisdom teeth pulled out when I was 17 (I’m 27 now). Luckily I didn’t have pain at all! Didn’t take any of the painkillers they prescribed and the swelling was definitely not as significant as yours! But glad you got it over with, Kris!!! 🥳
Same here, just had all my 4 pulled 8 days ago. Only had pain for the first 24 hrs. Only took Ibuprofen. Was not sedated . I thought it was gonna be bad but nope. Should have used ice pack for the first few days to prevent swollen gums.
Got mine out 3 days ago and I didn't clean my apartment before at all because I didn't have the time. But now it's the tidiest it's been in months because I have had a few days off from work because of the surgery. Did most of it today because my face has finally stopped hurting and I felt better. Also the swelling is going down.
I am 17 i started getting 2 of my wisdom teeth and i went to dentist to check he said me to get a X RAY and i was very scared. Then the X RAY showed that i will be getting all 4 wisdom teeth but all of them are straight as of now and he told me not to worry BUT LET'S SEE I AM STILL SCARED I just want to know if we can keep our wisdom teeth if they are harmless for rest of my life????
I say its better to get those wisdom teeth out as soon as possible even if there is no pain. Most wisdom teeth are impacted causing to push the rest of your teeth and making them not aligned. Wisdom Teeth can also cause your gums to get irritated making it painful. The younger you get them out, the faster you recover cause the no. 1 enemy after tooth extraction is the pain and swelling. Just follow the Doctor's instructions, take your medications on time, eat foods that are soft and requires little to no chewing, get Ice packs, don't lift anything heavy or do any strenuous activities and rest. I just got 2 Wisdom teeth extracted and right now I am feeling a bit of throbbing on my lower jaw and a bit on my upper jaw but not to the point that it is too uncomfortable. Putting some Ice pack on my jaw to reduce the swelling even if its not too painful. So yeah this comment is a bit long but yeah that's my advice.
@@anbailey319 Also forgot to mention that watching vlogs of people's recovery after their extraction helps cause you will see other people's experience and helps you mentally prepare on what's to come.
It's always interesting for me to see how most people seem to have such an experience. When I removed my wisdom teeth I only got local anesthesia, I never felt any pain, had no swelling whatsoever and no recovery time. I ate solid fight right after the surgery XD
@@stormyskittle0736 Yes, I had to remove 4 wisdom tooth all were impacted, one of them was actually already rotten and other wouldn't come out whole it had to be taken out by pieces.
@@lintuchihasame i had no pain at all. How long did your holes take to close up? Im like 3 days away from 2 weeks since surgery but i still have small holes and im afraid to eat lmao
