Those are on opposite ends of the airport, but thankfully, that's still not far, and there are several moving sidewalks along the way: about 1/3 of a mile (500 meters), a 10 minute walk at the slowest. Take a right when you exit Gate 1, walk down the big open hall, then turn right and use the moving sidewalk past the space exhibits. Turn right at the end of the hall and head all the way to end for Gate 51.
I am flying into Hobby from CA in a few weeks and will picking up a rental and I wasn't sure where to go for rentals. So, thank you this was very helpful..
You'll need to call Carnival to set that up, but they do offer airport-to-port shuttle service to Galveston. You'll need the flight's information to book this service; once you've arranged it, the shuttle rally point is near baggage claim 4, and will depart from HOU the same day the ship embarks.
Thanks for the video! Southwest changed my flight plan. Now, i gotta go through Hobby. This video made my anxiety calm the f down even though i only have a 30 min break to catch the flight from like gate 40 to gate 5. Seems like id have enough time now. Thank you!
Yes there is. A company called Galveston Limo offers a shuttle. Hobby Airport's website has more information about this particular one. Look under the Shuttles and Buses section of the Ground Transportation page.
Hobby is pathetic compared to Bush..the entire facility isn't a 1/10th as nice as Bush in its design, layout and convenience. Picking someone up a Hobby is like entering the Daytona 500 of airport arrival go rounds..the attendants refuse to let you look for your party, they rush you though like underweight cattle at an auction. I'd rather drive anywhere than fly out of Hobby and have to deal with the headache of that awful place.
