Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new mom life vlog! I needed to get some things in order, story of my life, so I threw a load in the wash, headed to IKEA for the quickest trip of my life, grabbed what I needed and put it together when I got home! I cleaned my kitchen after the huge event we held, that took forever, oh my gosh I share a mom fail... woooow. whatever that's life. I meal planned a little bit and I need your advice on my dining room that I need to fix up! Thanks so much for hanging out!

When we have family gatherings at my bestie's house, everyone including the children help set up and clean up before leaving her house. That's always been the tradition. She's gracious enough to host and provide her home so as guests, we all chip in and clean up so she doesn't have the task of cleaning up after us the next day.

My in-laws passed down their grandfather clock and it didn’t work. We contacted a clock repair company and they picked it up, repaired it, and brought it back. Now they come every two years to maintain it and I’m so happy!

Yes, that crock pot IS old. Those are Miami Vice colors. I received that exact crock pot for Christmas when my oldest was a toddler. In 1990. She's 34 now. I still use it regularly. About 10 years ago, the knob broke off. My husband replaced it with a 70's-looking dark brown knob off of some other appliance. Still going strong, baby!

We host all of the Holidays and I totally agree about it being part of the gig to have things to clean up when everyone leaves.....people do help throughout.....and I'm 61 and I STILL hate doing dishes LOL it doesn't get better / easier..... it does make me feel like I accomplished something when done

That’s awesome that Alex helped you clean up! I don’t think that’s the norm! Easy baskets better late than never! I sent my nieces Easter box after Easter she didn’t care! Easter was tough since it fell right after our spring break! Thanks I just started washing bedding with you mentioning washing bedding I was like I better wash mine too! See you motivated me! The weather is 45F in the Chicagoland area and sunny it was snowing yesterday morning but it didn’t stick!

Omg our kitchens looked the same Monday morning after Easter! Everyone asked if they could help clean up and I said no bc I wanted to spend the time with the family… we lost our nephew, my aunt and my mom last year so suddenly so I’m making it a point family comes first and others will get done when they get done. Time is a precious thing.

3 weeks late watching this but damn I needed to watch this and feel motivated again. I am going through a really really tough patch in my life and every day just feels incredibly debilitating while I wait for answers that will affect the rest of my life, you know? I feel like I cant sit down and plan the rest of my month because I have no idea what it will look like. I cant be future-thinking or working toward my future self right now and that's so incredibly hard a young mom. My daughter just turned two and I wish I could be that fun, carefree mama but I just cant be. Just watched this and have like a sliver of motivation and want to try to put all of this past me, even for a day or two. Thank you Kim, always a pleasure. You are so entertaining.

My mom use to host Easter every year and we use to do one big Easter basket and let the kids pick what they want out of it. Love Oriental trading used them this year for Easter bags for Church. ❤ your videos.

I’m at the make a todo list and lose it, then fly by the seat of my pants stage of life. As for meal plans, I just rewrote the one from the last 2 weeks. On the bright side, my husband finally got a job!!! (Long story short, he got laid off before Christmas and we’ve been living off my paycheck 😮) Moral of my life… You can only do what you can do in 1 day , and the rest will wait. It’s worked so far, so I’m sticking with it.

Hi Kim! I live in Missouri and there are several Tic Toc Clock Shops in the area. There might be something like that near you to repair your grandfather clock. I took my cookoo clock in years ago and it only needed clock oil.

HI Kim! I love your channel and you are so entertaining! As far as the dining room goes, I would put the big cabinet along the longer wall (unless it's a small cabinet) (or is there room for it along the wall opposite the window?), and maybe get rid of the corner cabinet and grandfather clock. If you add a rug and some art, that would be all you need in there! Your design plan for that room looks great!

I had lots of kids and they have other siblings. Well (short story long) I had a big to do with all the kids and another more intimate one for just my kids. Well just a idea because you have the extra baskets.
