I never understand why these serious RPers are so quick to call fail RP. If a random guy runs up and starts punching you, seems funner to play along with it instead of immediately call fail RP
After an 8 hour shift at the local deep vein thrombosis clinic, what I really want to do is pretend to stand in various parade formations and memorize which rooms in the barracks I can stand around in. It’s vital for my ability to relax that several 14 year olds police my every move.
The best part about Star Wars RP servers is they actually put up with trolling because it's the best shit that happens on their servers. I once decided to actually try it out, ran through boring training twice just so I could be a shock trooper witch was super fucking boring, literally standing around just waiting for minges and I'm like seriously is this what it's really like?
Why do all these kids think that doing anything outside of their strict boring scenarios is rdm? It’s a role play server, the fun is in the spontaneity
my favorite is that you are expected to comply because of 'FearRP'. It's very clear they aren't trying to simulate a real-life experience, or roleplay situations from perspective of some character (like you would in D&D). This is just a simulation of what they want out of their own life through a video-game. It's sad to watch.
@@rexviperfan yea, with how quick these guys call failRP whenever anything goes wrong, it's definitely for the power trip or the wish fulfillment. i can't imagine this being fun otherwise. you'd think an investigation to find out who pressed the base alarm would be an interesting scenario to RP, but nah apparently its more fun standing around for hours on end
the reason so many people came to the tower when the alarm went off is because nothing fucking happens in these servers and this was their one chance at any excitement for the whole two hours
I don't get what's so wrong with standing in an empty undecorated grey room with a bunch of slightly different coloured stormtroopers and why you need to be arrested for 10 real world minutes for it.
As someone who participated in serious RP, it's always nice to have someone like this to spice things up every now and then since it's basically the same boring thing daily.
I like how they block you into a room and when you kill the guy blocking the door to escape it's somehow called RDM even though you had a very valid reason for killing him. These people I swear... They just use the rules anytime something doesn't go their way. Such losers.
I will never understand how people think serious RP servers are fun. I follow GMOD server rules and have played on serious rp servers in the past. It ends up being 50% standing around not doing anything, 30% taking orders, 10% having to think before speaking so that its within RP rather than just being yourself, and 10% having a a good giggle when someone comes on the server and minges. Serious rp servers are actually boring and bad due to having to worry about every action that you do could break a rule. i could go on an on about how shit these servers are. IF you dont want someone pushing a button make it so people cant unless they have permissions.... how brain dead can they be.

only in gmod rp can you get banned for simply pressing a button also love the guy that got so upset he couldnt catch you he grabbed an admin to do it for him lmao
If you jump and like crouch every now and then against people who use cuffs, on some servers they're implemented that badly that you can completely reset the cuff meter. Don't play GMOD but from what I've seen this is doable - meaning they'll start crying when their epic "AFK till someone makes me slightly annoyed" immersion is broken.
2:00 this entire situation is fucked, they tell him leave while blocking him, then when he kills one of them to leave he gets frozen, power hungry turbo incels at peak performance.
Surely they are failing RP for not adapting to the situation instead of talking to you. Then they should all just plan to line up and open fire on you, at least then they’d be role playing actual enforcement. I really don’t understand these RP servers, it looks like a lot of doing nothing and being told to do nothing for 20 hours.
The fact that these guys need staff members to police is just sickening. If police can't do their jobs they should be fired not cry staff, honestly I would ban any cops crying staff everytime they had to deal with someone that is "fail rping" because most of the time it isn't fail rp or nitrp its commonly just not going their way and they don't like that so they have to fail rp and fail fake report. Also I have pressed that button dozens of time without taking fall damage of any kind and escaped the same way, but I parkored down abusing exploits in the physics engine. Fall damage is not a sign of proof, that is clear situational admin abuse.
