In this fictional incident poor pre flight planning misses a NOTAM regarding underviceable glideslope at the destination. Distracted by a business partner the business jet pilot then misses cues from ATIS, other aircraft and ATC and finds himself getting behind the aircraft. Committed to make a meeting a rushed steep descent almost ends in catastrophy.
A CAA Flight Examiner and a TRE from FlightSafety International discuss the causal factors.

Fantastic Video, unusual but very pleased to see that the authority has now taken a proactive role in teaching pilots and show them that how easy they can screw up and play back to them of their practices. I am sure most pilots are professional and care for the safety of flight and of course they obey the CAA's 1000 ft or FAA's 10,000' sterile cockpit rule. With your permission, would like to use this video for training.
