Getting Channels in order on the Icom IC-705 

This radio and the ID-52, the ID-50, the IC-905 (there may be others) work with channels in banks. The programmers lets you reorder channels that have been entered but can make it a little confusing when you don't get the same order of the channels in the radio.
This will help you with an easy "hack" to get the channels into the order you want: both in the programmer AND on the radio.
