I would never go off airBNB if it was my place because you loose the insurance they provide for free against damage caused by the tenant. I rented a spare room out on airBNB for about 2 years. Made great extra money. But all it takes is the guest from hell to destroy everything and not have it covered by airBNB. Also keep in mind anyone staying longer than 30 days is considered a tenant in most states and you have to evict them in court (even if it started out as a short term airBNB rental). Not applicable in this case, but interesting nonetheless if you ever want to rent out a room for more than 30 days.

The "she threatened me she was an ex cop" was after the Plaintiff felt she was being scammed. The Defendant would have been a nightmare to deal with, if the Plaintiff had moved in.
