I remember where I was exactly when I heard the news. I was with a group of friends, we were all on VRChat in a friends only world... We were all cracking jokes, laughing, playing music, just having fun, then one of the five of us spoke up and said "Hey, Technoblade uploaded a video-" We all jumped of the opportunity to watch it and cried together when we realized what it was about. It was such a gut wrenching experience for me because a year prior I had given up content creation. Specifically Minecraft content creation. We had started around the same time and were around the same age, so for me it was a punch. Even now, it still hurts every time it crosses my mind. Technoblade never dies! Great job on the run, btw, here's a sub to help prove your parents wrong. Good luck broski.
I remember when techno passed. I was at a RU-vid video making summer camp and I was making my inspiration video showing who was your inspiration. After I had gotten done making the video which only had techno mentioned as my inspiration, I walk up to my older brother to show it to him because he had just recently started working as a LIT at that area. Anyway, when I went up to him and explained what the video was about he stopped me and said “technoblade never dies” I showed him the video and later that night I went on RU-vid where I found a video titled “So Long Nerds” by techno so I clicked on it and watched it. I cried for I think around an hour before taking down my inspiration video. Farewell technoblade and may legends live on.
I have also made myself a sort of a promise, that no matter what i do i cant kill a pig, not a single pig even if im starving on a hardcore world. I havent seen this whole video yet but im sure it is a great video when its dedicated to one of the greatest content creators/youtubers on this whole platform. R.I.P Technoblade
I’m a brand new fan of Technoblade. I never got into Minecraft until last year, due to one of my favorite creators (a non Minecraft creator) joining the QSMP. Watching her play made me fall in love with Minecraft, and fall in love with the other creators who played on that server. I saw that some of them had often spoke, with great amounts of love in their voice, of this fabled Technoblade. I didn’t get to know Technoblade from his videos while he was still here, I got to know Technoblade from the stories his friends told of him and I absolutely fell in love with him because he clearly meant so much to everybody on that server. The gravity that he wasn’t here anymore hit me hard. I recently started watching his videos and my god was he just one of a kind. Technoblade truly never dies, and this is a wonderful tribute to him.
You made an incredible video, and this a great memorial to Techno. I was too late to techno's channel, but I ended up watching every video he released the exact day I heard and I just broke. I don't think I'll miss someone I didn't know more then I miss him. Technoblade never dies.
final speech caught me off guard man...I miss techno so much, I've been rewatching his videos i just can't move on... thank you for giving me a goof cry and as a great man once said TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!!!!!!!!!!!
My intro to technoblade was... well frankly boring. I saw the 1000 bedwars winstreak on my recommended, and clicked. I dabbled in bedwars a year or so prior, so i knew this was a monumental task. but damn, he made it look *effortless*, where the only problem he had, was winning so much was just boring. that level of skill is something i found relatable, as I was extremely dominant at some black ops 2 tournaments, competing with faze clan members every now and again, but even I couldnt fathom winning one thousand times in a row, even with my dedicated squad. (although it was all pro lobbies, even if it was normal pub matches, one thousand wins is just... abnormal.) To put it into perspective, I've had a few very long win streaks in hardcore team deathmatch, my main mode. well into the hundreds, 7-8 hundred in fact. But i had been playing on a professional level for nearly a decade by the time i was able to clear a 1,000 win streak. the only thing stopping him from going to 10,000 was *boredom*. It was... jarring to watch someone be so talented at such a specific subclass of gameplay. how did he find out he was the best at pubstomping in bedwars? Is what i thought. before clicking on another pvp based video. and another. and another. defeating stacked teams with a single fucking pickaxe. He wasnt just a pubstomping bedwars legend, he was a tyrant in everything minecraft, only beat out by extreme specialists in their fields. As someone who took their talent and skills in a particular game very seriously, he had talent even I envy. He was funny, too. But we all know that, there was something more with him. Not just intelligence or wisdom. something beyond that. I still dont know what that is, but it was clear to me from the very beginning it was there. It only grew, until one, single upload, where that odd feeling i always got from him, vanished. The Minecraft VR Experience. From start to finish, I didnt notice it even slightly, from start to finish. Something was wrong. I just chalked it up to something personal going on and ignored it. "Technoblade uploaded: so long nerds" god. the feeling in the moment i saw that notification was indescribable. I clicked, saw technos dad. "its just a funny bit, it has to be." i thought. but the sincerity in technodads voice when he began to read the message hit me like a ton of bricks. I miss him. I truly do. But at the very least, one thing will always be true in my heart. Technoblade Never Dies.
I remember starting to watch techno when I was around 10 years old, his vids definitely saved my boring childhood as it made me fall in love with minecraft. At the time I played on a tablet and then upgraded to an xbox 360, and would religiously try to get better at pvp, just like techno (I was ass at both devices). I am now turning 19 this year and still play minecraft, I miss him so much. Rip Techno
This opened up some feelings I've buried for a couple years since he passed and made me realize the true impact he had on my life so I appreciate you making this video and has inspired to make my own eventually when I'm able to correctly articulate myself.
Technoblade was the kind of effortlessly funny and skilled that I strive to be every day. Even this long since he passed, I still think about him a lot. He really affected my life in a way many other youtubers never could, and this video was a really nice reminder of all the great memories I have of watchiing him. Technoblade never dies.
Thank you for this video I remember when I heard techno died… I was just scrolling on RU-vid like I always used to do during that time 2 years ago and when I read the title of that video… My heart broke that’s when I knew that technoblade had died I remember being angry not as sad because he was so young but as I watched the video I actually laughed because of technos final message that he’s gone off to conquer the kingdom of heaven after abolishing all governments. And so like you I watched the tributes. Sorry for rambling just wanted to write this. Technoblade never dies
I had the privilege of knowing of Technoblade since the bedwars winstreak. They've always been so entertaining, kind, and of course, good at Minecraft. It'll forever confuse me that those who shine the brightest are the ones taken from the world far too soon. With just a mic, and a computer setup, they reached the hearts of millions. They were not only a man, but a legend that inspires many more future legends of the next generation. May he rest in peace, knowing the legacy of their name becomes an immortal rallying cry of the millions of lives he has changed for the better. Technoblade never dies.
hey, I'm 15 I watched him since I was in third or 4th grade he made my childhood and sense of humor, it has helped so much seeing how other people have been grieving as I have thank you
its incredible to see the rest of my generation that was inspired by technoblade just like me start picking up an editing software and getting to work. the way you allow yourself to talk over miscellaneous footage, keeping the editing powerful and minimalistic while praising techno for the exact same thing feels so "full circle". each of us remembers the days. the day we met techno, the day he left, the ones in between. i cry every once in a while, but i'm proud of the fact that i got to be there, that i got to be influenced by him, that i got to use such a great person as a means to evolve into a better me. this is a very creative tribute, thanks for sharing it
throw up a patreon, i'll single handedly prove your folks wrong if needed lol also, as another said, this is the probably the best technoblade tribute i've seen on YT- excluding the Ballads. I'm sure he'd have appreciated it
Really regret making such a casual comment so quick after hearing Martins voice. This video got deep and hard hitting. I myself was never really too invested in Technos content but I knew the impact he had on the larger fandom that is Minecraft. He changed a ton of lives even for friends of mine. That qoute on cancer you talked about, it feels true. And probably one of them most fitting one for the King that was Techno. May he rest in Peace.
The production quality of this video is incredible and the discussion was so incredibly impactful. The balance of the skyblock gameplay itself and the discussion was perfect. Thank you.
i dont play hypixel skyblock so i thought i would end up not watching the vid but for a change i'm seeing classic skyblock lol nice techno's still alive guys! (also tf am i blind? its written "vanilla" in the title 😂)
Your Technoblade journey was eerily similar to mine. I was introduced to Technoblade by the Techno vs Dream battle and the rest was history from there. Similarly, I was also on an out of town trip to visit my late Grandfather's home province when the news of his passing hit. The weight of my Grandfather's memory and the news of Techno's passing hit me hard and I wasn't able to enjoy the rest of the trip. This video is a great challenge and tribute. You just earned a sub! Go and prove your parents wrong.
Im not sure you will see this but, me and my friend are looking for a person to join our Minecraft server (bedrock edition realm) to make content with, and i stumbled across your content, your a really funny guy and i would love to see if you could possibly join. You don't have to lol.
I like the video man I’ve never really watched small creators but I just have this thing for sky block servers and this video hit my interest. Great video hope you can get shown to more people
That quote on cancer taking the best because not even death wants to is something I’ve not heard before, but it certainly feels true in a very tragic way. Take my subscription!
let's goo i hope u find lots of success on yt, u deserve it also i remember the day technoblade died. i was on discord, and in a server i was in with my friends and they were spamming the technoblade so long nerds video. i thought it was a joke, cuz i didnt know. but then they got mad, so i watched the video. and i was just crying for a good 10 minutes. that was horrible
Dude this is an amazing video! You are unbeliveably underrated, also Thank you. Your story realy helps me. Techno inspired millions. And seeing people share how he inspired them is so amazing. Keep it up.
