well Tim, been posted missing for a while . Havn't had a chance to catch up so takin it from here what a difference a month makes. Gettn on like a house on fire. Anyways lots to do .Btw that drill you are using i believe it was called a Limpet Drill least it was about 40 years ago when i used it in a fabrication shop. Lookn forward to the new vids coming up. It's been a combination really. Original spec by engineer was mostly bolted as I imagine most people would have it fabricated off site. As we have Dave on site we can do either. The remaining work is mostly welding now.
The inside webs on a 254 are all the same for the different poundage the bigger the poundage the extra weight is put onto the top and bottom flanges this applies to all USB also
The thing is they applied for a conversion and not a newbuild, which I think most others would have gone for. The conversion rules do clearly state you are to retain as much of the outer appearance as possible, as that is what people see.
