This is awesome. The effect seems subtle, but when you A/B”ed the tones the differences were quite apparent. And great phrasing on that intro! The melody is still playing in my head, lol. A lot to takeaway from this video. Thx

This was a big "tone hack" in the Kemper world when I was there. Dial in like .6 of 10 direct level. I'm gonna give this a try!

This video is not what I expected. I thought you were using the mic pre capabilities of the QC and using an active or passive DI box. Now I’m really curious to try doing exactly that with my Summit Audio TD-100. Can’t believe I didn’t think to try this before but thanks for planting the idea!

Great video. Love the tone you're getting. Your videos are inspiring me to get a quad cortex. What is the difference between this and having a clean amp instead of the di path?

Similar concept, but I think the DI tone is just has a different tone to it. But you could probably achieve the same thing using a Fender amp model or such.

Sure, you should be able to without much problem. Since it's all line level it should be rather straight forward.

Hi, I just downloaded this preset and it sounds great. I'm using a PRS S2 Custom 24 which I think has the same pickups as yours. To get the clean scene to sound clean I had to roll the guitar volume back to around 7 or 8. Is that what you do? To play with guitar volume on 10 I put a gain block at the start on minus 11.

I was running at full volume on the guitar (and you're right - both guitars have the 8515 pickups). The tone isn't completely clean but it should be close. Maybe you'r guitar is just a little hotter - maybe the pickups are higher?
