Billlie has pretty intricate lore that's kinda hard to follow if you just watch the music videos. They have short films and stuff that were released in between music videos which makes it make a tiny bit more sense, but it's still a little confusing imo. Billlie is my FAVORITE 4th gen group. I followed them in pre-debut and their journey has been so fun to watch. I would love for you to react to their Snowy Night (Christmas single) and Patbingsu (Summer single) music videos because both of those songs are ear candy! And Billlie’s bsides are immaculate.
Hearing you say the instrumental of Ring X Ring gives you feelings of danger and urgency made me so excited as a Billlie stan because it's supposed to! The lyrics are entirely showing that there IS something dangerous going on "they say there's no marks, is she dead" "they say there are marks, is it blood" in the beginning, the prechorus being a literal conversation going "its alright" "no its not okay" "will be fine" "you know its not". The chorus being "come find the missing" "you wait here" "i'm gonna save you". The post chorus of "where did she go". Literally the entire song is going saying there is danger, something is going on, they arent safe.

So great you liked them from the first listen! The stuff that you seem to enjoy in this reaction-- great and weird performances, surprising adlibbed yelps and shouts, deep (and weird, haha) instrumentation, etc-- is consistently *awesome* across their music. Some of the their bsides are so wild and quick that it feels like something from an off-broadway musical as much as Kpop. There's also a strong throughline of RnB in a lot of their stuff, especially the most recent two albums. Great headphone music for sure. There's also two other mini-comebacks-- the winter-themed "Snowy Night" and the fun summer bop "Patbingsu." Hope you see more!

If you liked the solo, you should've listened to the almost entire last minute you missed in the MV, they singled out the ending solo so you could hear it better :) Pro kpop reaction tip; Don't stop the video until it's actually over, it can contain tidbits or other interesting things musically or lore-wise (or even just bloopers) ^^
So far I've only been a quiet viewer but I can't stay silent about billlie. Trust me when I say they're amazing! If you're gonna do a follow up video for them, I'd recommend tsuki's iconic gingamingayo fancam + 2 mvs you missed which are snowy night and patbingsu! The second mv is a remake of their ceo's song so it has a pretty different vibe compared to the rest of their discography :) For bsides, I'd recommend flowerld (fan song), everybody's got a secret, the eleventh day, and a sign!
Something about the first song is so unusual and that unique sound has had it stuck absolutely rent free in my head ever since I first heard it 😂 congratulations on 500 subs btw 🙏💙

Yeah I think the rap "bridge" in GingaMingaYo is a post-chorus, it just appears only once. "Gingaminga" is a Korean expression that roughly means something like "maybe, maybe not", used when something is confusing or you're not sure about something. They're an incredibly talented group, they have 2 main vocals, 2 main rappers and 2 main dancers for a reason, and they're just a very strong dancing/performance group overall (lots of parallels with Purple Kiss there tbh). They're also all really good with the facial expressions, Tsuki just happened to go viral for it. Their winter song Snowy Night is worth checking out as well (as is Purple Kiss's winter song "My My" btw if you haven't seen it), as is their performance video for "flipp!ng a coin" (b-side from their debut). They have done some great vocal covers too if you want to hear some more of their skills without the whole group: -Moon Sua and Siyoon (main rappers): 김하온 (HAON) '붕붕 (Feat. 식케이)' Rap COVER -Haruna and Tsuki (maknae and main dancer): 米津玄師 (Kenshi Yonezu) 'Lemon' COVER -Haram (main vocal): 백현 '너를 사랑하고 있어' COVER (all on their official channel) And if you want to know more about their lore, all the MVs are actually connected by one storyline even though it may not seem like it at first, but their story films tie it all together. The story films have very pretty score too, and for the last 2 they even released the OST for them on Spotify.

And btw have you checked out nmixx? If you haven't, I think it would be pretty interesting to see you react to their songs especially because of the mixed reception about them! I personally am in love with them although it took a couple of listens. Another group recommendation is ive if you haven't checked them out! All their songs are literally chef's kiss.
I know somebody already mentioned this, but Billlie has the best lore I have ever come across and I recommend checking it out to get the full experience of the group. Rosy makes excellent videos subbing and explaining everything, but here's a little precursor: Billlie was a friend of the girls. They were all going to do a ritual together (I can't remember why) but Billlie went and did it by herself. She disappeared from that moment on and now the seven friends feel guilty because they weren't there for her. That's why in "Ring X Ring" there are lyrics that say 'Is she dead?' or 'Can we talk, not anymore' or 'Is it blood' and 'Come find the missing'. In the first pre-chorus, I really like the lyrics because it displays two opposing ideas, like a devil and an angel on our shoulders 'It will be okay (no it won't)' or 'She is gonna be okay (no she's not)'. They have lore videos before every comeback and it adds more to the story. There are a lot of symbols included like the number 11 and nuns and multiple realms. The whole group's story is about rescuing a friend while also carrying guilt. There are 2 lore videos before Ring X Ring, What's Your B before Gingamingayo, and another lore video before Ring ma Bell. The ladder is where they recount memories from their childhood. Anyway, I hope you become as big as a Bellie've as I am!
