I have actually done this…but never thought about doing with the reference tool. You have finally explained the reference tool in a way I can understand it. You,have thee best videos on the tube. I am a costume designer. I design and make costuming for dancers and ice skaters…one of my favorite tools is a mirror…for a different perspective, well and procreate for designing. Anyway, I find looking at my design (once made or in progress) in the mirror will show me things I might not otherwise see. It’s the simplest easiest tool I have. This, works, the same way I guess. ☺️.
Omg! Everything time I tell people of the mirror technique, they look at me like I’m a few sandwiches short of a picnic! 😳 Always love seeing your comments. Btw, your work sounds exciting! See ya on the next video 😁
@@thedoodleworks right? I honestly couldn’t work without my mirror. Whenever I do a fitting for the customer in the costume I stand behind them facing the mirror and that is my best reference of all things I didn’t notice in the regular view. Any inconsistency shows up every time. Same on the dress form as I work on the item. Yeah..my work has been a very good lucrative endeavor as well and a creative outlet. Learning procreate is such a great tool..and with your help even more so. No more messy designer pens. 😂🤣. Don’t worry about your short picnic…I always forget the forks and napkins. 🤪 keep the videoscoming. No pressure 😉😬
