Hey Kimmy! I have a tip for you. Washing your clothes with stains in hot water sets the stain into the clothes, Also putting the stained clothes in the dryer will also set the stain.
If you paint your bedside tables, and distress them, like old farmhouse, it will look like an entire new set. You could do your bed as well, but I'm not sure what your husband would think about that. You would need to spray them with a sealer, so the new paint sticks, and you don't get bleed through. I like the crackle milk paint gives you, after carefully using a heat gun to dry each layer of paint. Just watch some RU-vid videos on turning bedside tables into antique-looking furniture.
I'm working on getting my apartment back in order after being sick as well. Spent all morning yesterday at the laundromat getting laundry caught up. Got my bedroom, and the bathroom done, dishes mostly caught up, and groceries for the week. That was about all I could manage for the day. I feel like I accomplished alot but not enough at the same time. Trying to give myself grace but there's still so much to do. It will all get done eventually.

I had HG too! Yeah, I feel like not a lot of people know about it. I certainly didn't until experiencing it myself. I only have two babies though. You are a rock star to survive that with so many littles. Why did I never think of describing it like the flu? That's so right! It's so horrible!!! I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

It is definitely not a laughable thing. I have a friend whose house would have burned down if they hadn’t been home to catch the dryer that was on fire because of the lint.

👏👏👏yes good job! even tho we are sick we mommies have to still do it all…rarely does anyone take care of us when we get sick, but we take care of our families! we just push through! when my husband gets the sniffles you’d think it was end of the world. i don’t know what you caught kim, but i’m all the way up in michigan and have the same cough, laryngitis, feel like my head has a tight band around it from sinus! just miserable but keeping up with it all! your home looks great and the dinner looked delish!

I agree with you over the bedroom part Kim, my bedroom is always a mess as I don't have little ones but I have health issues. So as long as the main parts of the house are clean and tidy that's what matters. My bedroom can wait till last x
You are so very blessed to have Alex at home to take the children to school when you are sick. There are many moms that don't have their husbands' home to take the kids to school because they are working. So that would mean you would have to get dressed and take them to school. Kim! You literally couldn’t be more relatable 🫶🏼 while I watched/ listened to this 40 minute video I bounced between flipping laundry, washing dishes, and making breakfast. All with my littlest strapped to my chest. Thank you for being a friend! Also i giggle every time I see the bassinet and the crib bc we have both in our room too but half the time baby just ends up in bed with us 🤭. Soaking up this stage of life while also seemingly loosing my marbles lol

Hi Kim, glad to see you're hanging in there. As a music teacher, I always get laryngitis at least twice a year! Beekeeper's propolis throat spray helps me a lot! Also, answer me this...has anyone heard that peppermint/eucalyptus oil keeps away bugs?? I spray my windows with it and maybe that helps, idk but I do it anyway 🤷🏼♀️. Thanks for the double happiness in our days!!
My kids loved the JCPenney catalog at Christmas. We would let them look at it and oneboy made an x the other made o and my daughter made a star. It worked for us but you may need initials! Love you Kim hope you feel better soon!

I suffered from HG pregnant too. I only have two kids. I'm a teacher and I carried a pump during my pregnancies. It was horrible. I do not know how you are able to have 5 kids! I wanted more kids but can't imagine going through HG again.
I had HG. It was like death. Horrific. I got down to 83 lbs. no lie. Hospitalized 3 times. Lived off banana popsicles. You are an inspiration and many of ours bestie. I feel like I really know you Kim.

I didn’t know there’s a word/condition for the nonstop morning sickness when pregnant. I had that with both kids, throwing up 2-3 times a day nonstop nausea can’t eat, up to the delivery day. It’s really hard when you still have to manage the household and the kids, and a lot of people can’t relate to that. And people would ask how I stay so fit during pregnancies and not gain extra weight, nonstop nausea and always throwing up 🥴.
This works fantastic for ANY stain..use old fashioned Lestoil. Be prepared to wash the stain clothing alone ..add lestoil directly to the stain and work in with your fingernail..or any flat object to get it into the stain. You are going to have to wash the clothes several times to get the smell out but it truly works and you will never have to throw clothes out because of stains. It even removes difficult things like baby formula and oil or grease. Just remember you will have to rewash several times for the smell. Only use it the first time unless the stain has been in the fabric for a very long time

use peroxide with dish soap and scrub your stains with it, so amazing. I just pour the peroxide on the stain scrub add some dish soap and scrub....lol it works.
