Amazing that you can hop off a bus almost anywhere on Orkney and discover stone age historical sites with incredible views as if it's the most normal thing in the world! Stay tuned for our next video where we head back to Kirkwall, the largest town in Orkney and explore it further! :)
I had a wee giggle when you got off the bus in Finstown, thought "Well this won't take long..." But then, how lovely to see Cuween! I've not been up there in years. My grandparents had a farm just down the hill from there. Great vid, thanks!
Hi guys, that hill is above my village, the hill is called heddle hill. Those Stone stacks you wondered about have been built by locals over the years from stone from the old quarry pit.
I am from Orkney and there is plenty of places that you guys should explore like scapa beach if you walk along the beach and you should see the Scapa distillery and there should be a little trail along past the distillery and you get amazing views of scapa flow and also I am enjoying watching these videos 👍
Hey, thanks for the comment! We actually did the Italian chapel the other day and visited Scapa beach for a walk on your recommendation so thank you :) thanks again for the support.
