good work Nils. if its long grass you want to cut get some " Kavali blades" Made in australia they will transform that mower and you will not have to go back over it will cut in 1 pass.
Thanks! Looked at that blade and if I understand the design it will chop up the long gras that has been laid down by the deck. Clever idea and probably great if you do a lot of high weed or grass.
Thank you for this video! I'm in the US and cannot find much support for my Pro Rider 15. I do have a manual, but find it hard to follow sometimes. Somehow I've developed the problem where the rear of my deck is dragging the ground. I'm trying to sort that out and looking for help. Also the front bar on mine is very close to the cutting deck and the deck doesn't drop down without touching the bar in the front. Trying to raise the deck because in the number 9 cutting position it is still very low.
Hi! Nice to se that my video can help you! Im actually editing a video about how the cutting deck works and how to put it in and out of service position. Im not going to post it right now but I can give you a link to it (unlisted) as soon as it is uploaded. Perhaps it can be useful for you.
@@NilsKall that would be awesome! I've put it in service position and changed the blades (with pins and washer's) just prior to trying to make this adjustment. Maybe I created the problem.
Hi, the rear dragging could be due to you not getting the tab in the cutting deck inside the hanger that is located on the mover. You will see in the video soon.
thepajbren yes, but not cheap, but worth it in my opinion. Since I bought the mower cheap I could spend some money and time on it and still be ahead. I think I payed 150€ for the rear cover and 140€ for both the foot plates. Then it was stickers and grip stickers. All in all I have about 1200€ in this mower and I figure I could get more if I sold it.
@@NilsKall Definitely worth it. I'm looking for a Rider 13 or 16 myself, there's a 2000 Rider 13 for sale near me at €1350. I'll try to get it for closer to €1000. Your videos have been great for problems to look out for when buying. Thanks.
