I'm trying to find a Bible I love and am this serious about. I've made myself a Bible study bag with an old purse I never use and didn't really love as a purse and now I drag this bag with me everywhere ❤❤❤

Don’t make your Bible an idol….I understand what you’re saying but just be careful about it. I have an HCSB Bible I really wanna get rebound. So sad they don’t make that translation anymore.

I totally understand. When I first became a Christian at 17, my grandmother bought me my first study bible. I loved and used it up that the binding fell apart. So I decided to get it rebound. And anxiety of sending it off was hard. My grandmother passed away 15 years a go. This bible had my grandmother hand writing in it. But I did and it came out beautifully.

I watched another video from another channel and the girl had a bible and she was just like you but then she said she felt like the lord was telling her she was too attached to that bible and not the lord that he told her to give it to someone else I can’t even imagine having to do that

I had an ESV bible i had for like two yrs and it was the first bible i had boughten myself.. i could spend up to six hours in the word daily and one day God lead me to give it to a homeless woman who was battling all these things and i was on the verge of crying the entire time, and i could feel my heart breaking to hand it over…so i feel you🥺🥹🤣

So happy for you!! When you gave us a hint that this video was coming and named the company, I had to check them out. I have been looking for a couple weeks on where to send mine to. I thought if she trusted them with hers, I can do the same. Shipped mine off to them on Wednesday and they received today. Cannot wait to get mine back. This is wonderful. I know that we will not be able to take possessions with us when we go home. However, Faith, I so hope that God allows you to bring it with you to present to him. Am I missing something? I don’t understand . The Word of God is the Word of God it doesn’t matter the binding , the font, none of that changes the Word. All the talk of anxiety and being worried goes against what the Bible tells us… we are to read and do what the Word says not decorate it. I’m not saying this with a mean attitude,but rather a place of concern that possibly your love for the Word is being oddly wrapped up in a specific physical book and not the actual Word of God because His Word is not only powerful in that one specific print… the other copy you have is no less the Word than the huge note filled one or the one I’m looking at on my night stand right now.

My mom has her grandma’s Bible and she never uses it because it’s spineless and falling apart. Good to know I can get it rebound (and have it look cute and like something she’ll want to read instead of just be the sad dusty family heirloom)! My Bible the first 10 years of my faith I was like this. I was so anxious when it was out of my sight and my friends would try to hide it from time to time. Sadly I backslid, and when I came back to my first love I bought a new Bible. Now days I rotate Bibles often because I felt so dependent on it and I don't want that feeling again. But this video really brought me back to those days.

Hi Faith So wonderful❤❤❤ If i were you, never would take your precious Bible outdoor. ❤I would take an other one and complete the study from outdoors in the ❤Bible. (And read the notes) or copy the notes to take with me. You give so much good ideas and your work is so high quality. You are really inspired.🕊 Happy with your courses ❤❤and cliffnotes. God helpes me so much to get better and see my life otherwise trought His word. Today i got the book The Bible with and without Jesus:how Jews and Christians read the same stories differently. (In the new german translation) And put the Bible book names tabs into my Bible, an Interline Bible, an OT Commentary and Basis of the Bible book. How often do you get your bible rebound? I finally figured out how to put my notes in my Bible in a way that is easier to still read around them, but my Bible is starting to buldge, which 1) I love, but 2) won't last long! Lol! I had no problem that you cut up the Bible. I don’t worship my Bible like an idol, but I do honor the Words from God’s Mouth. His Words should be in our hearts where we can use them. I don’t carry my Book everywhere. When the Lord said to not add or subtract from His Word…it’s literally His Words…not paper. To add or subtract would be if I was talking to say a non believer and told them about salvation…leaving out the part about repentance and then just saying you heard me…now you are saved. In doing that, I would have subtracted from His Word. If in another scenario as I explained salvation to a non believer, I added that there are many ways to salvation without committing their life to Jesus…then I will have added to the Words of God. It has nothing to do with cutting up a Bible…but everything to do with how we use His Words. We need to remember that the “books” of the Bible were initially not solid together…they were parchments and or scrolls…bits and pieces. People learned by hearing and not reading. A lot of people were illiterate. So, we need to chill. We just need to get God’s Word into our very being with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Faith, I have questions!!!! Since we are 6 months out... 1. How thick is your bible right now (in inches)? 2. How has the rebinding held up? 3. Would you still suggest using Crew & Co? 4. I know this is personal and I hate to ask - but can you tell me what a rebind of a bible that size ran (ballpark). I can supply a private avenue if you'd rather. I ask these questions because I have a Bible that will need rebound sooner rather than later. It's a monster of a Bible. I have been gluing in pages to make my own interleaved and it was already over 2500 pages new. (It's a super giant print.. so imagine about 15 verses per page). I'm hoping to ifnd somewhere that will rebind and help me pick the best types of cover, etc.

How is your Bible holding up. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get mine rebound, also because I have the triangular, won't close Bible. Did they have to do something special with all your flip out pages? I have extra fold out pages at the front of each book with timelines/maps, etc. and am not sure how they deal with those.

I got teary eyed when you revealed the cover. It was just perfect! The color, your brand and your name at the bottom ... just perfect! I felt that emotion of being dazzeld and the sentimental value it has for you Faith. Beautiful work from Crew and Co. I'll follow them on insta and who knows maybe in the future I'll send my bible too. I can see they do quality work and use real leather and most importantly, they care and put thought in what they do 😌❤

You are truly living up to your "Bible Nerd" name. But I can understand. I use to have a Bible that had all my notes I had taken over many years. And I had it inside a carrier. I took it everywhere I went. To work even, not a studio; so it had to stay in my car for lunch time reading. One day my car was broken into and it was stolen. I was devastated. So glad it made it back to you safely.

Well I looked you 2 up and see you are Presbyterian. I shall always be grateful that you guys have Union Presbyterian Seminary located here in Richmond, VA. I made heavy use of it, when I moved here to begin as an Assistant Pastor in 1972! Seeing todays video, I cannot imagine what shape Faith is in every Christmas as she gets presents.

It’s beautiful and I can relate to the love of our bible but just remember to not idolize our bible. Looks wonderful

I went on Crew and Co and I so surprised at how inexpensive it is to get your Bible rebound!! I thought it was probably triple the price!! And it's so beautiful!!
