one of the snags about lacrosse gears is the scarcity of helmet brands and models of different sizings and the extortionate prices I have a big noggin of 63.5cm circumference and the most economic choice is warrior burn large which is claimed to fit in 62cm at max. I have tried it out with my glasses, it feels like my temples are being clamped. have never had a shot on XRS or XRS pro which can fit in up to 24/ 24.5 inch (varies site to site) but it retails for at least 30% higher than the burn. STX are just not even in the race. right now i am merely using a hockey helmet. the only "downside" is it is not officially certified for protection for lacrosse without the NOCSAE tag. Yet, it sounds to me hockey helmets may even protect stronger considering puck are 156g - 170g and vulcanized and disc in shape. really hope we could have like 2 more lax helmet companies to heat up the market so prices and sizes are more well disposed to consumers.

0:35 - Not trying to be pedantic, but I don't think Cascade makes variations to their outer (plastic) shell sizes. Size differences are usually about the thickness of the firm foam interior. You can see this quite readily if you hold up a CPV-R XXS to a CPV-R M/L. The outer shells are identical. Flip them over and you can see how much thicker the interior portion is on the XXS. At least that's what I've observed. Maybe someone from Cascade can weigh in and set me straight?

Do you really think the black inside mask makes a difference, i have always had a black cage, so i never thoguht about it, but my new one is silver... think it will be a difference on the field?
