That tide coming in is insane! Sarah, as Willie’s boat sank….twice….you might think …..twice……before getting in the real boat with him! I have to say how much I appreciate the seriousness you take with having pets. I wish more people would realize puppies get into everything, they grow up and they get old. Pets are a part of our families and we take on the responsibility of caring for them for their life. The unconditional love they give is worth it all! Can’t wait for next week’s video!
You should get a baby gate to divide your office and Willy's Studio that way Jack and Nori interact with each other through the gate but Jack can also retreat
I do hope Jack gets on with his new brother. Well your all ready for the onslaught of the bundle of joy. Your going to have a lot to do in the next couple of months. Please give Jack and Nori a cuddle from me. Also thanks for making Sunday evenings so pleasurable watching you youngsters enjoy life on Skye. Love to all.XXXX
I am currently training little puppy brother for my other dog Charlie. His little brother is Georgie. They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I love all spaniels! I have also had two English Springer Spaniels. Congratulations on your new boy!
It was something we discussed at length. However, given our circumstances, it just wasn’t the right thing to do for us at this time, in this situation. We discuss this in the previous episode. With that said, we would always recommend a rescue dog if the situation is right for you and the dog.
I still love ya both and understand but I would have been remissed if I didn't say what I said. Thank you for posting this reply. By the way you have a great voice and your other half is an amazing artist. Happy New Year From the States@@livingtheskyelife
Congratulations on the new arrival! We lost our old girl last year but now have another GWP who is 6 months old. Talk about a shock to the system, we had forgotten just how much energy puppies have AND how much we need to teach her. Lots of fun though and I wouldn't swap her for the world..........well maybe a luxury yacht in the Caribbean!!!
We lost our westy a year ago, that left lexy another west by her self. She's never been on her own before . If you have ever seen a dog with depression she had it . We got a king Charles spaniel. After 1 month they are inseparable
Hi guy's great channel. Be very careful putting stainless steel bolts in contact with the Aluminium on the landrover. The Alloy will corrode in time, best to fit mild steel coated bolts instead. Hope that's a help.
About Springers! When you start to train them you may think your pup is smart like a rock, but do not give up! I trained mine to respond to hand signals but the dog just couldnt figure anything out!! Six months after i started to train him i was going to give up! Took Buster out to the farm and suddenly there he was! Watching, listening and just being such a good boy! We never looked back, he had just needed the time to process the information and we were Golden!
Welcome Nori! It looks like you all are as ready as possible. That was one of the fastest moving tides I have ever seen! Love the jumpers, Willie, and they are for a great cause!
Always look forward to your weekly videos hearing of your adventures and seeing the scenery around your area. Beautiful stuff. A few weeks back you lit the fire for the first time. Living where you do and being resourceful, I thought I would share my little fire lighting hint. I save all my cardboard egg cartons and tear them up into small pieces and also save all skins off any citrus fruit (if you can buy them where you are) cut them up into small pieces and dry them out on a tray in the oven. Come winter time I add a handful to the fire with the kindling. Once lit the egg carton pieces burn for a long time as does the dry citrus peel and gets you fire going. Dried orange skins give off a lovely smell when burning. So a little recycling hint for you. Enjoy the arrival of your new 'baby'!
Hi Willie and Sarah I have just found ur channel and what a lovely time I’m having I’m a 78 yr old who lives on her own but after discovering you both I’m not alone,I go to bed at night now instead of putting telly on I watch you both and jack of course the lovely jack I’m from Edinburgh I haven’t been to Skye (too late now) but I have been to Harris I thought that Harris was out of this world it is but Skye is so lovely and where u are staying now well what can I say take care of each other and jack and of course little Norie can’t wait until nxt week xx
Loved the video guys ,good luck with the new pup , boy are they hard work you look well prepared though. I have a 4month old cocker called Rosie, who is adorable but very naughty at times 😍hope jack loves his new little brother ,looking forward to seeing their adventures
The curve of the luggage retainer is for mounting directly to the wheel well, so the curve would be needed, since yours has been squared off, you need the block. You are quite attentive pet parents. I know every subscriber wishes to visit your little slice of life.
I was going to say I missed the "banger dance" but seeing your efforts at the end of this video I think you may need some practice. I know, you will be doing "the puppy's under my feet dance" very soon. Have the best fun with the new member of your family. Great video and it was lovely to see the bottle.
This warms my heart as it will be taking a trip down memory lane with my late Sringer George. Scotland, dogs, walks and lots of fun. What more could one wish for 😃
Awww puppies are so cute. We got a Bassett puppy from the rescue...or we thought she was a Bassett. Nine months later, the puppy went from fitting in the palm of my hand to a 95 pound Bassett/Shetland Pony mix! And she thought she was a lap dog!!!!
With the metal luggage compartment in the back of your Land Rover, may it be a good idea to put some bungie (or something similar) over the sides, and the front, as the dogs could hurt themselves on there, if they jump up into it? It is a great job as always Willie and Sarah, all set for your new arrival. Is Nori a boy or a girl, so sweet taking the first steps. I sooo hope that Jack and Nori love each other, and have many happy days running around together in the future. xxx
Loved your first 2024 video! So looking forward to seeing more of Nori. You both did a great job of puppy proofing for sure. Both Jack and Nori will be so loved ❤❤
Time and Tide wait for no man! I am proud of my Scottish roots and no more so when I see another Scot have the right bolts and collars for the jobs because we NEVER throw away stuff that we may need in the next 8-10 years. LOL. Looking forward to Nori! Love and Hugs from me in New Mexico USA.
😂I have a newly refinished dining table that I received for a Christmas gift from Mom...35 years ago! It was only in storage 14 years!😂 But in our new to us remodeled home, it fis perfect and looks great!! Husband and I both save EVERYTHING!😂😂😂 And usually end up using most.😅
Hi Sarah and Willie. You’ve done a great job in fitting that dog guard in the Land Rover and preparing for Nori’s arrival. I’m sure you’ve made plenty of fuss of Jack so he doesn’t feel left out. Take care. Nick
Thanks! for finally mentioning the beautiful sweaters! I've been watching your vlogs for a year wondering who knits for you! will definitely check out Loud Elephant
Good job on puppy proofing yolanda. That tide coming in was just amazing.Never seen anything like it .We don t get tides in Malta.Really enjoyed watching. You both make simple things feel so interesting and Jack adds to this joy.Hope Nori is settling in Can t wait to see how he fits in with Jack.Love to all xxxxxx
Oh gosh - you teased us…..I thought we were going to be introduced to Nori. Looking forward to next week. Wow the tide and the bubbles - fascinating! Willie you are so proficient with the tools - great work in the Landy.
Oh loved the tub bath or I guess bucket bath!! Just Precious! I live in land locked Oklahoma in the USA. I have heard stories and read stories about the tides coming in, but Wow!!t”They said tides were fast in the books…but I had no idea how fast.😱 Thank you for sharing that visual! It was unexpected and unbelievable. Seeing how quick that water was reaching Sarah was a great way to experience and understand 👍🏼 Great filming Willie!! Looking forward to next Sunday ❤
Hi, Sarah and Willie. You did an excellent job of puppy proofing your Land Rover, your house, and your offices. I’m looking forward to seeing how Jack and Nori get along. See y’all next week❤️❤️
I asked a while ago about Willie's jumpers. I'm a knitter and love the bright colours and the style. I have 2 sons and 4 grandsons and only the 2.5yr would wear one that cool. Great to finally know where they come from. I thought you may have knitted it for him Sarah, as a side talent we didn't know about. But ofcourse Willie could have knitted it himself. I had a friend called Norries(sadly, he's in heaven) it's a lovely name I will remember easily.
That little keyring with the bone and pacifier is the best. We got one for our puppy when we got him last April and he literally uses it as a pacifier at night. He only gets it at night and chews it till he falls asleep every night. Congratulations on your new addition!
Willie your treasure is at the end of that rainbow. I've never seen the tide come in. That was very interesting to see. Enjoyed your video. See ya next week.
I was hoping to find out where to get a woolly jumper like Willie's. You answered my question before I'd asked it. I'm now the proud owner of a black and rainbow kind of coloured one. Marvelous! Enjoy your new family addition and keep up the good work
You may have to put something against the baby gate ,we added some plywood as our cavalier King Charles spaniel ( Alex) managed to get through the bars of the baby gate . Once Alex grew we were able to remove the plywood and believe me that baby stair gate was so useful
Really liked how you showed the tide coming in and what a beautiful landscape you live in..I'm sure that I am like the rest of the subscribers and can't wait to see Nori and Jack meet for the first time. Best wishes and many thanks.
The only thing you forgot in preparing for lorie is a "How to be like jack kit." 1st include small blocks of wood for him to chew on and spit out, pencils for small sticks ( unsharpened of course) to run around with like crazy and drop in front of you, a medium size mushroom to step on and squash, a baby pool to jump in the water, a small crawfish cage to poke his nose in to practice for later on a lobster trap, the smallest brussel sprout to help jack fart😉😲😷😨, a extra small pair of black sunglasses to be jazz dogs side kick..WELL you get the picture Etc etc etc
Can't wait until next week to see how it's going with Nori! Nice new, colorful jumpers (sweaters here in the US) for Willie, and I like the trimmer beard.
Willie has lost weight as well and can tell by his skin color and his smile, he's healthier and feels better. I've lost 34 lbs. And can really feel the difference in energy and self assurance! Way to go Willie!! Happy for you!
Love the channel. Makes me homesick for the auld country. I have to admit I'm very impressed/jealous of Willie's ever-growing collection of stylish jumpers. Now that he has mentioned where he gets them from I've made my first purchase. My Loud Elephant delivery is en-route!
I am excited to see the pup. A lot of preparation goes into having a tiny pup. I wonder if Jack will teach the pup some things just by being with Jack? I have not had 2 dogs, just one, so i am curious to see it following Jack's good behaviors. The breakfast of pancakes looked sp delicious.
Hello Willie and Sarah, congratulations on going to get nori, it looks like you're getting everything just right for Nori,'s coming. Great video and it looks like Willie You're all set dog proofing the Land Rover. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos Great job guys. 👍
Willie, might be worth putting a rubber washer between the bracket and the guard to stop vibration and flexing noise, metal no metal. good luck with Fur babies.
