The first 2023 Getting Over It Ending Speedrun World Record in under a minute is achieved! The world's hardest game (for many) has been defeated. This is the last minute barrier that will be broken...

As a getting over it speedrunner, for me, I know that even breaking the 2 minute mark for me is insanely hard. I always watched your videos, waiting until you will finally break the 1 minute barrier. Insanely difficult. Insane achievement.

Huge congrats on this WR. First sub 1 might just be the greatest achievement we'll ever see in Getting Over It. I was there when Dist got sub 2 and back then I never could imagine we'd ever see a sub 1. Yet here we are, 5 years of intense progression later. What a crazy journey this has been and I'm glad to have been a part of it.

@@Collazoo it isn’t that surprising. It only lost a second at most, now don’t get me wrong, that’s a lot of time, but there was a lot of time to be saved from his previous PB so it kinda cancels out. Also the TAS is 38 seconds so there is definitely room to improve on a 59 second time, not that we will ever get anywhere close to 38 seconds

Since 2018, I have been checking Getting Over It on SRC every 1-2 weeks. Almost 5 years of seeing this time drop over and over and over, and the progression in this last year alone was incredible. Blastbolt is not real. He was artificially constructed by Binit in 2018. Created for the sole purpose of keeping the Getting Over It community in check, no matter the cost. He is a hyper-intelligent physics A.I, programmed to disagree with everyone at all costs, but primarily, to dominate the leaderboards, leaving absolutely no competition. All leading up to the imminent sub 1. Sub 1 was planned by Binit long ago, and some say when it is achieved, doomsday begins. Blastbolt is but a ticking time bomb, and it is too late to defuse.
