The listener character is severely injured as a result of a (non-depicted/off-screen/not explicitly described) violent attack by someone they trusted and cared for.
These injuries get more serious later and nearly result in the listener character's death (This is also mostly off-screen, and is just described by Law after the fact).

Introduction to the Essence Eaters! (Kind of sort of) Vampire Listener! Law going into protective mode! Adrenaline rushes! Cliffhangers! We've got it all!
I know we haven't gotten a lot of info about Law's listener yet, but we're slowly getting there. It's interesting trying to explore/establish a magical race of people while also not just dumping a gallon of info on everyone lol.

This was really amazing! Knowing that the listener will come home beaten and halfway ‘one foot out the door’ (means death) just to see their man, so sadly romantic! ❤😂

YYOOOOO I ALMOST SCREAMED AND HIM CALLIN US SWEETS/SWEETHEART AND HIS COMFORT SOBBIN GN 🛌💕 glad nat wasnt around i can only imagine her reaction to seeing listener in such a state i almost sobbed at the image of that scenario,, anyways never touched up on the attention the detail for ur audios the sfx, the audio switching to only one ear, then slowly fading and muffling god u just keep me hooked‼️🙇🏼 listener still messing w/law even at their state jesus i love them, im never getting over ur content thank u (for the free serotonin

Ahhh thank you! At first Nat actually was going to be there (but immediately brought out of the room) but I was kinda hesitant on that so I changed it last minute lol. And thanks, I'm really glad the details I add in are coming across well! The detail work is one of my favorite parts honestly lol

1:32 sorry I don't know why but I just assumed in the past that Nat's mom passed away, so I was a bit surprised lol 5:10 so we're humans and essence eaters at the same time? humm, superhumans? the background art changes (which is great) and the cute owl is gone (oh no) so, sweetness, sweetheart, doll face, did I leave out any pet names? about the essence eaters, I feel like they feed off essence of all sorts? (because Law mentioned supplies, I imagine things thrown into the caldron, like herbs) but with more powerful items, like blood, the easier to satiate then? anyway, that's just my deductions. looking forward to seeing the story unfold

Yeah Law just has custody of Nat like 90% of the time lol, one of those "its complicated" situations that'll be explained more in the future. And yep that's pretty much most of them, Law likes to use variations of "sweetheart" and then dollface sometimes when he feels like being a lil shit lmao. Thank you, btw! I don't pay super close attention to numbers because I feel like I'd get obsessed with them lol, but it does feel nice, like a little milestone

Any chance you took some inspiration from Redacted Audio for this channel? He's my absolute favorite audio RP channel ever, and I see a lot of similarities between your styles. Usually audio RPs just sound monotone or flat or otherwise fake, and I feel disconnected from the emotions because of it, but Redacted's sound so genuine and amazing, and I see a lot of that skill in you too, so far. Well done! I'll definitely be watching more of your content, and you may be gaining another subscriber pretty soon!

question (sorry if it’s silly or has already been answered and i missed it but): when an essence eater goes feral do they eventually calm back down and go back to normal or do they stay like that? or is it more complicated

It kind of depends on what it was that caused them to go feral in the first place, but in most cases there's no coming back from it It'll be gone into more in the future to give an in-depth explanation for how it works and what they can and can't come back from!

Technically there's a lot of Circles, it's just what groups of Essence Eaters are called, but most people refer to their circle as "The Circle" lol So yeah it varies, but most of them are sort of like small communities or big families
