Looks great. I'm semi retired. Still help my sons and daughters out in trucking. With our scrap yard. I still few days a week run my 1987 Pete. She long over 300 wheel base. Little jobs I do at 87 yrs old
Im glad you keep that beautiful truck in good shape cuz it seems like some of the routes you take, you're the only pne around for ALOT of miles!!! Goodluck and keep the vids comin bro.🤘🤘
Truck and trailer looking good , For sure I've been over that pass , It is over 8000 feet on top , It snows ice up there , The same officer that pulled you over he pulled me over 3 years ago , Nice officer and Its kind of ironic he gave me a warning too 😂😂😁 be safe take care yourself my friend
Trooper treated you really great. I( like all drivers) have been pulled over, and have been given warnings, not a huge fine by the state. Most of these guy's are pretty decent if you are the same to them. Retired 14 yrs. now, but still like the thought of driving (on a nice sunny cool day.)
Found your ig a couple days ago been watching all your vids love the truck! I live about 45 minutes outside of American Falls would of been sick to see your rig rolling through! Keep up the sick videos 🤘🏼
Very nice video, loved it. I hauled a lot of loads to Monte Vista Co out of Presque Me then loaded potatoes to Fl , Had a good life driving retired now 35+ years on the road. 74 years old, Looks like Pappy Big Bear kicked the shit out of my record LOL. Keep up the good work.
You got lucky ! What a nice cop. You should call his jefe and say that you got a very nice understanding officer on your team. He really treaded me nice and was kind. Wow, not everyday you get that. Send him a Christmas present this coming Christmas and say thank you. You saved almost 600 Dollars there so send a gift forth at least 100 dollars for him so he can enjoy his Christmas knowing that there is also good poeple or truckers out there like you.
@@NickWeber112 Yes, take the time and do that because as you know, you don't face a nice understanding officer like he was so go for it and you will feel so much better. Like the old timers say, we don't get and have enough of the good in life so the little for what it means it means millions since when we are dead ok, then no more of anything.
Where you loaded the stone at the start is about an hour from my house. I run most of the roads that you were driving except Teton pass. I think you got lucky he was in a good mood.safe travels
@@NickWeber112 wives tale. Warnings for speeding and equipment violations can impact CSA. Warnings for chains, or ordinances, that’s something much different. Plus, it depends how it’s written and what system they’re using, and if it’s even entered into a system. I can only speculate at this point.
It's beautiful there. That was a nice looking Pete. The Pete looks better, in my opinion. I like that big sleeper, but I'd have to know what's under the hoods to decide which one I like better.
@@NickWeber112 Brave hearted! But I'd stay away from those Hanesville Woods as this song goes : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P85wXJUEkOM.html
You take a lot of unnecessary risks. That W9 has about a 330' wheelbase and the bumper and fuel tanks are @6" off the ground , you're in the mountains without chains, and summer tires. I guess all them cool lights underneath and loud jakes will get you through.
At 10:16 He’s at, “TETON PASS.” Drove across it, Many many times. No, I’m not a Trucker. Just a family man 👨 we have family on the other-side of it. Family we have is over in Victor, Idaho. Other side of the Divide = PASS. The Teton Pass in Wyoming is designated as Wyoming Highway 22. At the state line, it becomes Idaho State Highway 33, then continues northwest to Victor and north to Driggs. The pinnacle of the pass is 8,431 feet above sea level. It’s approximately 11 miles (18 km) out of Jackson. The maximum grade on the road is 10%, and several avalanche slide paths traverse the road along its length…. Including Glory Bowl slide area. During the winter months, the road is often closed in the early mornings for avalanche control by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. The pass is a few miles south of Grand Teton National Park. Parts of the route to the pass are located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest and in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The small town of Wilson sits at the base of the east side of the pass, while Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area are northeast of the pass. Teton Pass is a high mountain pass in the western United States, located at the southern end of the Teton Range in western Wyoming, between the towns of Wilson, Wyoming and Victor, Idaho. The pass provides access from the Jackson Hole valley in Wyoming to the Teton Valley of eastern Idaho, including the access route to Grand Targhee Resort through Driggs, Idaho. To the south of the pass lies the Snake River Range. With all this being said, if you wanna see absolutely drop dead 💀 gorgeous pictures of, TETON PASS / TETON NATIONAL FOREST / AND Also be able to look in all directions for 100 plus miles, Simply google these words, “PICTURES OF TETON PASS.” You will see more high ROCKY MOUNTAINS, In a few minutes, more than you will ever see again, in a lifetime.
Hey man love watching the videos. I'm a driver over the pond in England so it's cool to see what the industry is like over there. My only question though is do you have air suspension front and rear on the truck? Running that low over here you certainly wouldn't get far and most of ours have leaf springs on the front and air on the rear. Keep up the good work
10:50 Officer grinning from ear to ear because driver thinks that a written warning gets him off scott free.....Nope....do your due diligence because written warnings essentially convict you without ANY due process
@@NickWeber112 believe 10 percent of what ya hear and 50 percent of what ya see. That officer was grinning cus you were entertaining. Well done on your part but, god damnit man, get some chains. Ha. Ive been saying that since you started rolling. I said, "he's gonna get pinched for it, just wait." Ha.
@@NickWeber112 I've put 42 year's in running OTR RATTLES one thing that would drive me nuts .. with your wheel base why don't you have a big sleeper .. I pull oversized loads with 1980 359 extended hood with 320 inch wheel base 63 inch flat top . When I purchased rig it was 280 inch wb with a one wide two deep sleeper LOL
@@ronclaman156 I personally like the look of it and it helps I’m young and a smaller guy so it doesn’t bother me! Plus I can haul all sorts of stuff with that deck😁

Lol I got something funny to say I’m not even sure if I like the fact that it’s soooo stretched. I think im going for a little shorter than that. My ‘79 V8 CAT powered A model Kenworth is stretched but not thhhhaaaaat long! Other than yours being stretched very long that’s a sweet truck dude! Love the color that’s different you don’t see that. Mines black and silver. It was gold striping I painted silver. I also pull a step deck with that truck. I also own a 2007 W900L with a C15 Acert twin turbo CAT. That’s painted black it was a blue truck. It’s got chrome also same with my ‘79 A model and my other rigs
@@NickWeber112 yup. Yeah man it’s your truck. Slowly growing I had money already to buy my 2 main dump trucks. Slowly comin up soon I’ll buy more machines I got a little loader, backhoe and little excavator for now
@@NickWeber112 Oh yeah, saw the snow machine on it. Cool story bro. Leave it on. I’ve seen paying machines on the deck as well. I’m sitting in my W-L 900 in Atlanta. I run Seattle to Atlanta often. Hope you are well and happy
Actually getting a warning ticket is bad as a actual ticket. Unless they say verbally I'm warning you and not a written warning. You are good. Truck looking good as always. Be safe out there.
Yeah. If you are getting a written warning. Ask for the citation instead. You can fight a citation in court. But not a warning. That stays on your record and affects you CSA scores.
