Drink Chamomile or Lavender tea by 8 or 8:30. It will help your body relax. It really works! I also diffuse my bedroom with essential oils using Roman Chamomile and Lavendar. I put it on 30 minutes before bed. Hope you feel better!!

How late into the day are you drinking coffee? When I buy a large coffee in the morning and sip on it all day, I am wired until after midnight and can't sleep. Maybe too much caffeine is making it hard to wind down at night. Just an idea!

I am so happy that you are teaching your kids that they are not just a test score. Also that you are changing their mindset on math. I wish I had that in elementary school, I am a junior in high school now and my math teacher is trying to change our mindset. I also want to be an elementary school teacher. Your videos are very inspirational and you have made me realize again that this is what I really want to do.

Can you do a day in the life of a teacher but more focused on what time you wake up, your morning routine, (not so much at school bc we can see that all the time) what time you leave, grading at home, lesson planning, other activities you do after school, and a night routine?

I love teaching the Underground Railroad! It's one of those topics that is automatically engaging. With my students, we did a simulation (very similar to the Scholastic one) in which they rolled a dice that would tell them where they would move next. It led to great converstions as well!

Love the motivational message. We started testing last week. We were not allowed to have anything on our walls that had letters or numbers on it. Everything had to come down, so no motivational phrases for us.

We just finished parcc testing. ADVICE FOR PEOPLE ABOUT TO TAKW IT if u want to feel less pressured, do the easy part first and bookmark the report parts then u will feel more calm while testing (at least I did) also my county only starts parcc in third grade

First, love your new glasses! Second, I use to have the same sleeping problem and I got these gummies from Target called Olly and they work! They are natural and have no cloudy feeling the next day. High recommend them

We have the same thing as PARCC but it's called the STAAR test. It's mandatory and we take it May 14th and May 15th. The subjects are Math and Reading. 😊😊😊

Hi Michelle! I want to wish you and your students the best on your upcoming PARCC assessments. My fourth graders just finished state testing last week Thursday. Florida was going to do the PARCC once upon a time, but decided to move away from Common Core, make their own standards reflecting the common core, and develop their own assessment. Sorry your kiddos have to do so many tests. I loved how you covered the walls with butcher paper and put inspirational messages on them. I used to be able to do that until they told us we couldn't do it, but I'm so happy to see your students enjoyed it. As always, I enjoyed watching your video. Hope you had a great time during the Girls on the Run 5k and that you are having a relaxing weekend. Hugs!

In our class we use wonderopolis and we use it for social studies and science my teacher prints out the worksheet and then gives us time to complete I think you should check it out it is so good I love using it and learn so much from it.

I used to wear similar small-frame, plastic glasses until I switched to the bigger frames like your new ones (mine are metal on the bottom and tortoise on the top half). It took me some time to get used to them, but they're now my go to pair! I love how big the frames are, so it allows me to see without having the pesky small frames constantly within my point of view. However, I will note that I'm still not used to the weight/thicker sides. I don't know if yours are heavy, but mine have some weight and tend to give me a headache if I wear them for too long.

We do MAP testing. No fun we had sit for like 2 hours each day for tow weeks. My teacher was really calm she was awesome.👍

The new glasses are adorable! I’m loving having two pairs of glasses, but there is definitely one that I wear more. I can’t believe Billy went through Starbucks and didn’t get coffee. You said you always get the same thing, but then you named a bunch of different things. Unless I’m treating myself once in a while with a caramel macchiato, I have a hot skinny vanilla latte. No matter the outside temperature I like my coffee hot, but in Belize I discovered an awesome cold chocolate drink called chocochino. Wish I could import it!

I had to take the Parcc test in January this year. It was seriously so looong. I think your students might need a break before returning to normal schoolwork. And they are lucky since their's is only four days long mines was seven days. And the time 29:21 when Michelle said Caramel Maccihiato, it reminded me of BTS's Coffee.

To help you sleep go through the alphabet and think of names for each letter until you get tired it works so well I fall asleep in 15 minutes every time I do it

I swear the name of the state testing changed every couple of years when I was in elementary and high school. I can't remember what all the names were but I definitely remember at one point it was starr or staar testing. Literally the teachers gave up telling us the name and just called it state testing.

With the new glasses, your eyes are more noticeable since they bring more attention with the size and jewels. With your normal style, I think your smile and stronger jaw line is more noticeable since they are smaller. Both look good! Plus, its nice to have different looks depending on your mood/outfit. I enjoy your enthusiasm to get it all done, you can do it!! :)

Hi Kristen, I think you should just go ahead and give vlogging a go. I am a teacher in Australia and I do vlogging. I must admit I am not great at it and my editing is not fantastic either. But, I give it a go and if anyone else is interested in my vlogs well then it's up to them to watch. I get great ideas from other teachers vlogger. I look forward to your upcoming videos.

my glasses are similar except they aren't quite that large and they have more of a cat-eye affect on them. I feel like these would look better that way as well, they don't look bad though!
