The alternate heat source is interesting! That wasn't required for us in TN (our house is all electric, too). We did have to have a landline home phone installed, but I think that's changed since then.
Yes, we were caught off guard when we were told that we needed an alternative heating source. Thankfully, she said the Mr Heat would work. The landline is one I’ve never heard of for fostering. I’m going to ask the kids if they even know what a landline is, it will be interesting to hear what they say.🤗❤️

We actually laughed afterwards about how much we stressed over it and in the end we throughly enjoyed the homestudy part. I guess I should say the part where a caseworker would come to the house. The paperwork and other documentation was not as enjoyable but really not too bad. You’ll do great!🤗❤️

Hi Christine, so glad they are helpful! I’m so excited for you all, still remember our day of finally being licensed. A sense of relief, excitement, unknowns, and so much more. So I love organization and schedules, we used several different ways to keep things organized and where we didn’t forget or miss things. “The Happy Planner” was amazing for me! We also kept a folder with all documents online so that we always had access to information we needed from our phones anywhere we were, this saved us many times. We scanned or took photos and just dropped that information in that folder and it was always with us. Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions? Thanks for reaching out!🤗❤️
Hi @Sweetmama4J I not exactly sure on that one, you would probably need to verify with caseworker, I would doubt that you would to do some of those things. Sorry I don’t have an exact answer for you.😬
