Hello Sanders, The two different Ford trucks I had over the years, I made a wooden flat bed for them out of treated lumber. The first one was a 1965 F100, and the second one was a 1978 F150. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
You are an amazing young man. We have watched grow up for several years now. Thank your Mom for letting us know you have a channel that we can watch! Whoop Whoop! ~Sub number 313 :)
A NEEDLE SCALER may be a good tool to have around the shop for cleaning welds, concrete for paint, and knocking rust off of frames. Harbor freight has a cheap one but the valve will likely need adjustment after a while.
The Rust Converter looks like it does a great job. Long time ago I used Naval Jelly. I resulted in a similar looking surface but the Rust Converter looks much easier to use.
That is why I always hated drop-in bedliners. Too much moisture and debris gets underneath them, and starts pre-mature rotting of the metal. I always opted for spray-in liners. Great job Sanders!!! It is a lot of nasty work, especially if it is hot and humid out. I will go into my Safety-Mode for a minute. I echo the comments about Safety Glasses/Goggles. Also some type of rubber gloves when handling those chemicals and paints. Things can get absorbed through your skin, and start affecting you before you know it. Some things may take years before anything is noticeable. Earplugs would be good too. I grew up on the farm back in the 60's and 70's. We did not have the training and safety equipment back then, like they do now. I also worked in Nuclear Power Plants. I am 67+ years old and retired. I am finding out about some of the bad habits I had when I was younger, that are bothering me now. When I was younger like you, I didn't think anything was going to bother me. Well,.....I was wrong. It is a good thing that the Lord kept me away from the temptations of Booze, Smoking, and Drugs. My life span may have been a little shorter if I had given in to those temptations. Take care of the temple that the Lord has given you.
Great job. Where did you get the rust converter at? Be sure to use safety glasses when using wire wheels. I didn't and got a piece in my eye years ago. Keep up the great work.
Hello Sanders we use “Galmet” Ironize on bridges at the Gold Coast (aus) engineered approved it does require a cover coating this is similar or same active compound to create a black chelate to the surface * it is long lasting even with concrete cover! Note to dad.
