Giiiirl I had PRISTINE skin until my mid 20s, like 24-26 and since then idfk. The last time I had clear skin I was on antibiotics for strep and it was a GLORIOUS two weeks omg. i literally have tried EVERYTHING. It's not the worst acne in and of itself but it's dryyyy ass skin that I literally have to deeply exfoliate EVERY day or it's back to flaking off my face like dandruff; And I have an excesssssively detailed korean skincare routine now, with a TON of moisturizing focused products.... still doesn't matter T^T
Go to the dermatologist… I went through the same thing in my 20s then again in my mid 30s. Now I use two prescription topical creams, and they have worked wonders.
sounds like it might be bacterial or fungal if antibiotics worked... try washing your face with a gentle cleanser or soap that has zinc in it. My recommendation is Vanicream Z-bar, or the Vanicream dandruff shampoo (it can be used as body wash) and then finish with Vanicream moisturizer. Don't put anything else on your skin for a week (including makeup), because there are a lot of ferments in K-beauty products that aggravate fungal acne. Like, even putting rice or lotions with grain just feed the fungus. And change your pillowcase every day. If it doesn't work, go into your dermatologist, but tbh, as soon as I hear antibiotics clear something up, I definitely think bacterial or fungal or both. Scrubbing your face too hard may get the dead skin off, but it hurts your skin barrier. The dandruff products will get rid of flakes at the same time they get rid of acne.

Lab jobs are great! Med techs/CLSs are relatively easy jobs and pay decently (at least in cali). Job security of the health industry minus the hassle of dealing with patients face to face 👌🏻
