There is an indicator if you miss a checkpoint. It's the text that kept popping up saying "Surely they will notice I missed a checkpoint...," Impossible! It's a wrong gate!," and "Damn! I must have missed a gate."

Tekla, the seed seller old lady up the mountain is the witch! And you don't generally have to keep animals in a shelter, aside from cows and goats, so you can milk them, and chickens so they can lay eggs. It is one animal per slot, aside from the chicken coop. One day in-game is one month, so yeah, it is possible to miss the Christmas quest or run out of time planting stuff.

In real life moonshine can be made out of any fermented mash and is the end result of distillation and usually some residual flavor of the mash ingredients

Drae should try to harvest the sheep and ram for wool on October or November. 😂 Typically when the ram has that black texture/skin, it means you can farm around 4 or 5 wool from them. So the ram is my indication to farm my sheep or in general i do like 3 months rotation in farming wools. Its also a good money generator during winter when there is not much farming along side eggs, and milk if you store them til December.

Originally the shelters worked if you put the animals away every night. Then they can be sheered or milked or whatever. If they don’t get out away you can’t do anything with them.
