Your fish went from 2kg to 8kg in record a day, because the game realized the mistake it made thankfully. The Salmon normally go up +1kg every 24hours. Your game just cleared the 'lag spike' it was having in processing the weight and corrected the issue.

If you look at the Rope that you're tied to the the dock you can actually pull your boat closer

@@drae Also in case you haven't noticed other people saying it, when you reel in long lines you shouldn't be moving while you reel you should sit in neutral next to it.

i just feel bad for him in general, i'm further along than drae and when i fully loaded that farm with smolts. the daily consumption was 300 beginning for 100k... idk why his is so much higher at 750 for 50k when they're brand new babies.

@@zaliath He recorded this before the update, as the current version of the game it's about 6300 kg of fish food you need for 100.000 fish to go from 1 kg to 8 kg, before the update I believe it was 24,000 kg

@@Gravemans He's playing the old version of the game, in which it would be in total about 15000 kg for 50000 fish (as it's 24 tons for 100k fish), with the update/new version it would only be about 3150 kg

I think the fish growth depends on how much food is there. They only started growing after you had excess food in the farm

You could place cargo equally on both sides of the boat by undocking and turning the boat around!

I'm guessing part of the strategy with the dock cranes is that you need to spin the boat around if you want to reach the other side of the boat to maximize your cargo

You know you can look down at the dock anchors and pull the boat in tighter to the dock after you get off the boat ? Dude will also fall in the water. Waves are huge now after update. The pressure washer in the shop washes the boat off an you can change at the locker. Auto pilot works if you set the markers and zoom in on the power button and turn it on. Its weird though. Does work. Hope some of that helps ? Oh an reading the help menu when you fish to see what fish to catch and bait to use to get optimal fishing during the seasons.

I kind of like the idea of perk points being few and far between. Kinda forces you to pick a specialization, making employees actually useful and very much needed.

I made 65 million with one crop of farmed fish. One full load of the biggest bag of feed and a full small smolt tank. So two trips from base.

The small fish will probably need more food as they get bigger, seeing as how the 6000 8kg fish were listed as needing the same amount of food as your 50k new fish. Also, is it possible you have to unlock an on-ship crane through the skill tree?

I have 140 hours on this now and not once have i seen a big wave 😢 maybe 3 storms in that time and the waves 🌊 became about 2x regular size... still waiting for those big waves! I have traveled 519.9mi, level 13...total xp 29559 mostly done long line and fish farms, not much cargo... just about to do a cargo mission to get the skill point to unlock net fishing, they finally put it back in the game 😄👍

net fishing is in the moment disabled from the devs bcz of unintentioned massive lags and bugs it has .... but the moment those are corrected and fixed it would be nice to see it :D oh one more thing you boat can flip over so weight balancing is crucial in the game ^^ more so the whole maintenance part of the game is still not implemented the only thing that you can do besides whale watching is replacing fuses on your own ship....
