For those of you struggling with this, please know that you are so deeply loved by God. He sees you and in His intelligence that surpasses our understanding, He knows that those thoughts are not you and they are not a reflection of your beliefs. God helped deliver me from intrusive thoughts. One night I was lying in bed, struggling with these thoughts. I told myself enough is enough, and I raised my hand in the air and started rebuking Satan with authority, saying Jesus had already defeated him on the cross with his blood and for him to depart from me. I was also asking God to remove any unclean spirits from me if they had any on me. I felt the Holy Spirit pulsate out of me. While I was rebuking Satan, I felt something come out saying, "Depart from my servant," and he did. I felt peace immediately. But don't let Satan get a stronghold on you, brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. God bless you, and I love you. I hope this testimony blesses you.
This is something that I have been struggling with for years. Internally I keep cursing God, it comes out of nowhere, and it drives me crazy, because it’s not how I feel. And it only happens internally never outwardly, because it’s not how I feel. I love God, I’ve asked him to take it away, because I don’t know why it keeps happening.

Praise God.. I struggled with these thoughts since December 2020, I was in a very tough time, fear that I'm going to lose salvation, fear of the unpardonable sin, everything came into my mind day by day. I felt so lonely. I felt like I'm going to hell. Everything came... But i thank God that day by day these thoughts lose power on me.. I pray for myself, I pray for everyone in the planet facing these types of problems... I thank God that these thought are nothing compared to the Love that he gave, the Grace.. Repend and keep praying.. Praising, singing glorifying his Name gives us strength... When I compare now and those time these thoughts came.. I'm almost free now... God is good keep doing things that God wants us to do.. Avoid watching and listening cursing videos.. I will always remember you all in my prayers and please remember me also in your personal prayers... God is Good... The battle is not yours or mine, but God's. we just have to pray and keep going.. i also experience this intrusive thoughts almost everyday. feel so exhausted, especially blasphemous thoughts. it 's so intimidating and causing fear everyday. I pray God to forgive me for those thoughts and strengthen me to fight it.

Just thoughts and when I look up things on RU-vid and hear what they say not to say here comes the enemy again making up stuff in my head . It's a hard battle but we have to keep fighting in the beginning I was crying , having anxiety and thought the worse . It can be scary but, it's not you it's the enemy even when you think you are saying it word for word in your mind it's a attack from the devil . Pray for me I pay for everyone to overcome this 🙏. Remember if you are trying to get closer to God then there's still hope . Have faith . Live life and follow Jesus he will give you peace of mind . When this thoughts start coming, just whisper quietly the sentence: “Jesus is King”. Do it every time you have this attacks. I have the same problem, and the moment I say the upper sentence the attacks stop. It will take some time but be patient, surrender yourself to Jesus.

I pray for anyone going through this situation, I have just been delivered from very bad intrusive blasphemous thoughts. I was very depressed and thought my situation is irreversible but our Lord God has been good to me, I just want to encourage someone going through this that there is an end to this situation, it wont last forever, there are demons behind this and when you are delivered, you will be free. When you reading and feel peace read more when you start to feel irritated with reading stop reading and pray to God/Jesus and when peace comes back listen to worship music thank him continually for setting you free repeatedly. look at things that bring you peace which is closing your eyes and tell yourself I'm focusing on Jesus I'm focusing on Jesus repeatedly and close your eyes say that until the devil flees
It’s so comforting to find out that I am not alone. I have battled these blasphemous thoughts in the past and now they have come back again. I don’t know where they come from but I hate them and they terrify me. I have given my life to Jesus in the most serious way I have been able to till now and want to just live for Him but these thoughts torment me. These thoughts hinder my relationship with Jesus and my walk with Him because they fill me with fear. I have no peace or joy. I can’t imagine the Holy Spirit living in me with these horrible thoughts going on in my mind. I pray to God for forgiveness, for mercy and for them to stop. Dealing with them is not a quick easy process. When they talk to you (mind), talk back! Speak the word of God to them, plead the blood of Jesus on them, cast them out in Jesus name. You will have to do it often as the enemy is persisent, but the enemy will flee. Speak the word back! We have the power. Praise God!!!
I had this issue for years, because as a christian I went back to sin and unpure sexual life. This is a worse position than to have never been Christian before. The Lord is so good and patient that he gave me a second chance, I totally renounced sin, and gradually the unwanted thoughts desapeared . I keep myself pure for Jesus.

From what I understand the concern by someone that they have committed blasphemy is proof that they haven't. I was always under the understanding that "Those who commit true blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will never know, for they are already so removed and have so abandoned it themselves and thus in turn abandoned by it that they will never care." So yeah anyone out there struggling with the same concern don't worry, if someone commits blasphemy against the Holy Spirit they will never worry or care that they have, for things of God will be irrelevant to them.

I suffer from religious OCD. I go to therapy for it. I was telling my therapist about the intrusive thought that started it all.. it has to do with the verses of the unforgivable sin. I said the thought out loud but made it clear that what my mind was saying was happening wasn’t and that my mind was tricking me into believing it but I don’t because I believe it was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus performed the miracles!
If they try to come in my mind, I don't want to be afraid, I want to tell it immediately, "that's a lie" & brush it off! While standing on the truth of God!

EVER SINCE THEN...I'VE HAD INTRUSIVE BLASPHEMOUS THOUGHTS TO REJECT IT AND CURSE IT AND THIS IS NOT ME! IT ATTACKS ME IN MY QUIET MOMENTS (USUALLY AT BEDTIME) WHEN I HAVE NO DISTRACTIONS AS IF FORCING ME TO SAY IT OUTLOUD (I NEVER HAVE). I CANT STOP CRYING ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THIS IS THE TIME IN MY LIFE WHEN I HAVE DECIDED TO START ON A MORE SERIOUS LEVEL MY WALK WITH THE LORD AND MY OWN MIND AS INSANE AS IT SOUNDS FEELS LIKE SOMEONE..OR SOMETHING IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER TO DESTROY MY CHAMCES OF GETTING CLOSE TO GOD AND MY SALVATION.
Hello @ShalinC. We do have an enemy but be encouraged that when we are born again, we have the greater One living in us. As you learn to wear your whole armor of God as per Ephesians 6 and as you resist the devil in the strength of the Lord, the Lord will see you through. Just a quick question for you: You mentioned that you are seeking to get close to God and your salvation? What do you mean by your salvation? Be encouraged.

In regards to your question: I meant I'm trying to not lose my salvation and finding ways to get closer to God with each passing day but I feel that other than prayers I really don't know how. I need to find ways to study (and learn) the Bible, etc.
@@jzsc28 Hello @ShalinC, trying not to lose your salvation is you trying to keep your salvation in your own strength. But instead, God saves us by His grace and mercy alone and He is the One who keeps us by His power through our faith (see 1 Peter 1:5). Praying and studying the Bible is indeed very important. Therefore, I encourage you to continue to do that. Reading anointed Christian books and watching good Christian videos is good too. Spending time in worship as well as in fellowship with other brothers and sisters in the Lord is important too. Going to a good Bible-based church is important as well. I pray this helps. Be encouraged, with God’s help, this too shall pass.
This is exactly what happened to me. After two months of being afraid of sleeping, I fear that I would accidentally think something wrong, I realized that God know my heart and that my salvation isn’t through the things I do but my faith in Him. It’s going to be okay, just focus on Him! To God be the glory!!
I have had these thoughts, the first time they came I was undergoing intense pressure and I didn't understand them and I was so so troubled and I cried so much.. thinking I have committed an unpardonable sin..I shared with a friend who told she went through the same. I prayed about it and ask the Lord Jesus to intervene and I used scriptures, they really are the answer to that... Blessed be the name of my one and only saviour and king..the Lord of Lords Jesus Christ.
Every since I started my turn to Christ. I have been having these thoughts overwhelmingly. They just keep repeating GD. This gives me anxiety. Makes me doubt my own love for god and Jesus. Especially at night when I'm trying to go to sleep they just don't stop. Jesus did give me a image of a painting I grew up with of Him holding his heart. I think he was trying to let me know that he is still with me and in my heart. This did give me much relief but these thoughts still persist. Now when they start I just add him to the end of them. Because I believe these are of the devil. So as a way to turn it around on the Devil again I just ad him.. and oddly enough they all but stopped.
This was literally me a few months back. I gave my life to Christ then out of nowhere I was attacked out of nowhere. It was depressing. I felt like a 100 kg load have placed in my heart. I felt like puking. It was extremely fearful. What did I do? 1. The moment I realised the thoughts were not mine they drastically reduced. I stopped overthinking about them. I ignored them. 2. I devoted myself to prayers, especially midnight prayers and 3 am prayers. 3. Stared reading the word especially the new testament. I realized the moment I start reading the bible, the enemy does not attack as often. 4. Confess, reject, renounce.

I agree with what you said; I noticed that when I didn't pay them no mind, it would calm down, but if I started confessing over and over I would get in this horrible cycle of condemnation and it got worse! Because of these thoughts I have went into an mental state 14 years back after giving birth and I was put on depression medication and now after I gave birth it wanted to start, but now that I have listen to u and read all these comments I understand I thought I was going to hell, even till the point I wanted to commit suicide, thank God for He's eternal wisdom

thank you for sharing. i have suffered with those thoughts for a long time. i was afraid to tell a pastor or anyone because i thought they would tell me i had committed that sin. so I suffered for years. thank God I found a church that believes in prayer and they kept me in prayer and I know God is bringing me out! amen. i still have a way to go but God will finish his good work in me. I went through this as well. When going through this,i also felt detached from God and reality and felt like i was going to hell because i felt i had no more faith.The Lord showed me that this is a big part of Anxiety. Once i started antidepressants and lots of prayers and tears,God is bringing me through.When the anxiety is high, this happens.I can't receive anything that people say to help me,this is my body's natural response to protect me from receiving anymore information I thought not even God could get me out if it.This is my experience .Read up on Depersonalization and De Realisation condition.I hope what i went through,can help someone whos going through the same.Intrusive and blasphemous thoughts are a result of the anxiety.God Bless😁
I have this problem, but they’re intentional, I can’t stop thinking them. But at the same time, when I do feel like I’m not thinking them, I try to think them.
Hello, they are not "intentional" in the sense that they are not your heart, rather, what you are experiencing is the trigger of law. Essentially, because you are experiencing these thoughts under the law which says "you must not have these thoughts or you are doomed", that law triggers in your flesh rebellion, that is, when you try to stop the thoughts under such law in your own strength. All the law can do is arouse sin (see Romans 7:5 and 1 Cor. 15:56). Therefore, the way to overcome these unwanted recurring thoughts is not under law but under grace. Through faith in Jesus's finished work is the only way. As you rely on His righteousness imputed to you within as a free gift. I'm grateful for all of you guys in the comment section because it gave me sense of comfort knowing im not the only one going through this. The enemy does not want you to know who you are as a child of God. You have the holy spirit. He loves you and your not forgotten ❤ just renounce every agreement/covernent with intrusive thoughts and repent of those agreements with those lies and get deliverence
Wow. wow wow wow wow wow. God is so so so good. I have been going thru an 8 year battle. Its been the hardest time of my walk. Thinking /believing you have committed the unpardonable sin whilst being bombarded by blasphemous, venomous , disgusting thoughts has got to be up there at the top level. It makes any prior sins of adultery, or masturbation, or being angry at God or being confused, or having walked away seem like a walk in the park. And that is not said lightly. To overcome some of these gigantic sins and then for people to be bombarded continuously with these thoughts is almost enough to nearly drive one insane. Hello, I understand. It may take some time, but as you persevere with the Lord's help and work through this with Him, this too shall pass by His grace. Ask Him to help you and to set you free from the fear of the unpardonable sin because fear will fuel the unwanted thoughts. Thank you for sharing . I experienced this some years ago; blasphemous thoughts, fear of unpardonable sin, I thought I was the only one! It caused me to go away from church at that time just to get away from the thoughts. However, I recommitted my life to Christ and I overcame those thoughts by the blood of Jesus Christ and moved on in Christ. I will apply what you said to attempts of thoughts to recur.

When the Pastor of my Church was saying that there’s no forgiveness of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, out of no where I was imagining cussing the Holy Spirit yet i didn’t do it by mouth…i pray God had mercy on me! I don’t wanna go to Hell
Dear @Graffiti NYC, what happened by imagining cussing the Holy Spirit is not an uncommon reaction to what the Pastor said on the pulpit, actually. Fear and law will easily cause such response. You are completely forgiven by God; this was not done out of a heart of hate towards God, but out of a reaction of your flesh to what the Pastor said as I believe you heard it through the filter of law, fear and condemnation. I encourage you to root yourself in the sound doctrine of grace, the love of God and your identity in Christ. But all is well there and you haven't committed the unpardonable sin, be encouraged.

Thank You for this message. I worried so much that I was the only one with this issue and why me! I always worried if I was demon possessed or going crazy! But this was such a help and I understand exactly what you are saying by engaging the thoughts makes them worse. A lot of times I may not have a thought but my fear of those thoughts is so great that it is almost like I am peeking into my to see if one may be lurking but then they all flood in causing me to feel like they are mine. Recently I have been working and trying to follow God’s word and path. I had difficulties before and wasn’t Christian. I cried so hard a day that the next day I wanted to be closer to God, he chose me. He wanted me to start to believe in him. That’s why I changed my habits and stopped doing my sins. But the bad thing is that I started to have bad thoughts. Specially blasphemy. Trust me, I didn’t even had those thoughts before being Christian until now. I try and try and I know that those aren’t me. But I want to stop thinking about those things. I don’t know what to do. Please pray for me.

You are welcome, God is good. I am glad you want to try the things I shared in the video. First, make sure your foundation is the grace of God: that you are rooted in the sound doctrine of grace. Otherwise, if you are trying to stop the thoughts under law, the law will strengthen the thoughts you don't want. Fear, guilt and condemnation fuel the unwanted thoughts. Therefore, you need to handle it all under grace. Then, yes, you go to God in prayer in the lines of what I shared in the video, and you pray through concerning the thoughts to God. Then, from then on, now that God and you both know that you will from now on brush them off (casting them down) and move on, you do that knowing that God knows and knowing that you have casted these unwanted thoughts already on God in prayer. What you starve (by not engaging with them) eventually dies, but what you feed (e.g. thoughts by engaging with them constantly) is strengthened and magnified. I pray this helps. I had intrusive thoughts and overthought about them for a while. Years on and off. But since I became more devoted to the Lord I realised that these thoughts are But lies of the devil and a tool of spiritual warfare against you. Jesus will be your strength and the way out. Don't fear and do not lose hope. They are not of you and the Lord knows this.

I’ve seen lots of videos on this topic because I’ve been struggling with it since the death of my father these thoughts are not in my heart I am not mad at God because my father is dead or anything like that i’ve just been having these horrible thoughts and how you explained your experience with it is exactly how I’ve been struggling with it I was struggling tonight of course as usual and your video was the first video that popped up actually felt the Holy Spirit and I truly feel like I was meant to see this i’m gonna go to God with it I’m gonna give it to God and trust him and brush them off as best I can and see what happens I believe they will go away eventually keep me in prayer and God bless thank you

Yes, you go to God in prayer concerning the thoughts, praying what's on your heart and in line with what I shared in the video as the Lord leads, and from there, you simply brush off the thoughts when they come, casting them down. Over time, they will begin to leave as you do not pay them attention and as you stop engaging with them. What we feed gets strengthened and magnified, but what we starve eventually dies. Persevere with God's help, and eventually you will begin to forget about the thoughts and they will leave. And if they pop up every so often, you will know what to do and you will know also that there is no condemnation attached the these unwanted thoughts, and as you apply these principles, they will leave again. Thank you for your videos, I've been struggling with blasphemous thoughts for years now and they only seem to get worse. Today I had one thought that popped up that was a sentence, but the last part of the blasphemous sentence I felt like I finished out of anger. Would you pray that God would reveal to me that I am not unforgiven- I've been praying for a dream from Him where he explains to me that I am not lost.
Hi Brandon, You’re welcome, God is good and He loves you. You are forgiven because you don’t want these thoughts and God is a God of the heart. He knows your heart. These thoughts do not stem from your will or from your heart toward God. You know that you have not committed the unpardonable sin first and foremost by understanding the whole counsel of God’s Word, the new covenant of grace and God’s nature. The Bible promises us that God forgives us when we confess our sins to Him and He cleanses us from all unrighteousness (see 1 John 1:9). Jesus said that He will in no wise reject anyone whom the Father sends to Him (see John 6:37). God is not a sadistic God who refuses to forgive and cleanse the one who is repentant and desires a relationship with God. God loves mercy. God is good. God wants us. God loves us. I believe based on the whole counsel of God’s Word that if someone committed the unpardonable sin, they would either be no more, or they would no longer have any desire whatsoever for God. I realized now that these blasphemous thoughts all these unwanted intrusive thoughts in general are not really mine it's from the devil trying to tempt me trying to bring me down make me feel that everytime i think about it god is mad at me but NO. God understands me that it's not from me that's not my heart and mouth says because he knows how much i love him and praise him so every time that these thoughts came in i just think that NO ONE CAN SEPARATES ME FROM THE LOVE OF GOD No one especially these thoughts. Hi @basy boy, here is what, for instance, Jesus answered to some who asked Him what they needed to do to do the works of God. See the recorded account in John 6:28-29 (NKJV): "Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”" Please let me know however if this scripture doesn't quite answer your question. Make sure you don't enter into a works of the flesh mode and that you don't begin running on a treadmill of performance which is what the devil so love to bring God's people into. The latter is deception from the devil and is dangerous. Instead, learn to abide in Jesus (see John 15:1-5) and to be led by the Spirit of God (see Romans 8:14). The Bible says the just shall live by faith (See Romans 1:17). Know God's will and by His grace you do it. In that place, there is rest for Jesus said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (See Matthew 11:28-30). I pray this helps.

I have been going through this for over a month now. It’s so devastating and you go into deep despair at times. I have always believed in and love Jesus. I would never want to blaspheme him or the Holy Spirit. When I have these intrusive unwanted blasphemous thoughts, I go through the whole OCD spiral of praying through and then getting scared that I have committed the unpardonable sin. I just keep giving them to God, I know that Jesus died for my sins and that I’m forgiven, however it’s hard to get that knowledge into my heart. I have listened to your videos a few times now, I like how you explain things. I’m in need of prayer so that I can come out of this. I want nothing more than to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These thoughts are not my thoughts, they are not me, and are not of my heart they are just tormenting me daily. I’m just not sure how to make them go away. Thank you for your videos because they are a good source of information, inspiration, and comfort. Please pray that I get some relief and that I can rest assured that I have not committed the unpardonable sin.
Dear @brezzy, be encouraged that with God's help and by His grace, this too shall pass. This is an attack from the enemy of our soul. He throws the first few thoughts and depending on how we respond, I.e. under condemnation versus under grace and faith determines how much or how long we struggle with these thoughts. Thus, to help see these thoughts leave, it is important to handle the thoughts with a good understanding of the new covenant of grace and of the finished work of Jesus at the cross and of who you are in Christ. Then, standing on such foundation and by using your sword, the Word of God, you root yourself in the truth. As the Lord leads, you can also apply the principles I shared in my videos. I pray this helps. Be encouraged, God loves you and Jesus already won the victory for you; now by appropriating His work at the cross you shall overcome because through Him who loved you, you are more than a conqueror. Hello @Nandini Biswas, I understand how you feel and I want you to know that God loves you with an everlasting love and that He is willing and able to see you through and that through Him and His Word, this too shall pass. It is important not to only try to ignore the thoughts. One needs to do so supported by a foundation of biblical truth otherwise, you will struggle to ignore the thoughts. That's why you need to do so while standing on the truth of the new covenant of grace and supported by having first casted your cares concerning these thoughts all on God through prayer. Once you prayed through concerning these thoughts, you embark on this journey of casting down the thoughts when they come (brushing them off) and moving on with your day. But also, you need to live with truthful biblical thinking which will shift your focus from dreading the thoughts to magnifying God and biblical truths and which will strengthen your understanding of and faith in your position with God in Christ Jesus. So I encourage you to spend time in worship filling your heart and mind with love for the Lord and the love of God, and to meditate on Scriptures about the goodness of God, His love, the new covenant of grace and the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Then supported by worship, prayer and Scriptural truths, you brush off the thoughts when they come and turn your attention back to Him and biblical truth. I pray this helps. Be encouraged.

This came to me a couple months ago the first time the second time was just recent this last month in December. It came and went but I was still struggling I’ve watch this video last month I was doing fine for a while but I had to come back. Thank you again and glory to God
I think to better understand the situation, you can read about "don't think about pink elephant". I also think the growth of these thoughts is based on fear. For me, this whole experience with these thoughts helped me trust God even more.

Hello Titus, I encourage you to apply the principles I shared in the video. First make sure you are rooted in the sound doctrine of grace, then standing on the truth, commit these unwanted thoughts in prayer to God and tell Him that you are sorry for them and that you don't want them anymore, so in order to see them leave, you are no longer going to wrestle with them through confessing them, repenting of them (they are not your heart anyway in the first place), rebuking them, etc, but that instead, having your eyes fixed on and faith in Jesus's Blood that washes away every sin and wickedness, tell God that from now on, you will simply brush off the thoughts when they come and move on. The less you feed them by either fearing them, or by paying them so much attention through engaging with them, the weaker they will become and the less frequent they will be until they leave. And if they come back again, simply redo the above or whatever the Lord shows you, while being rooted in Jesus, and they will leave again. I pray this helps. Be encouraged.
Hello my name is Angelica I came across ur page the other day cause I’ve been seeking help with my intrusive blasphemy thoughts against God/holy spirt they are terrible thoughts I seriously fear them so much. I know God has to know deep down in my heart that I love him and I’m for HIM! This is so sad how the devil does this to us. Everything ur saying on your video I’m trying to do but it’s hard. I feel like sometimes I do it to myself to cause i almost check up to see if the thought is still there cause I want them gone! I’ve prayed and rebuked cried out called on pastors etc.. seeking help for these. How long once you started pretty much ignoring them and not giving so much attention did they stop? I seen this started 14 years ago for you then came back 2years ago… for me it started last year they left me then now came back almost 2wks ago gosh I HATE IT. I’m trying to take my place of authority AND FIGHT! I would really like to talk to you if that’s possible?

Thank you for this. I have been fighting them since I was 13 and I’m 54. I asked forgiveness several times a day and felt like it drove me crazy. I tried not engaging as you mentioned but I couldn’t. I feel if I did commit the unpardonable sin about a week ago as it was so clear and arrogant. I haven’t felt guilty or want to pray for days.?I try to read my Bible but the thoughts interrupt and even when looking at pictures of Jesus. I feel so far from him.

Then, when they come, because you know you have given them to God, it will help you not engage with them as they have been taken care of in prayer already. I've also struggle with these and it was the worst nightmare ever because of these thoughts I harm myself and I used to be mad at God that why did he sent these thought or allow this thought because I've already accept Jesus and I've started my walk with him it was peaceful to be in his presence but since 2024 it turn up side down I have a sickness call Bell's palsy and since then those thought came up out of no where and when those thought stop it feels like I want them on purpose just to realise that I have ocd but then our God is good he showed me this verse 37:32-40 I encourage y'all brother sister to read this verse I don't know about y'all but I've struggle with bad thought about the Bible also and it make me feel so guilty I'm still struggling but I put my faith in Jesus I hope y'all will find peace Jesus loves us so much 🥺❤✝️
Dear Christina, I can assure you that Jesus is willing and able to set you completely free. I encourage you to watch other videos I made. A couple of them I made touch on witchcraft. I grew up in a family where there was a lot of witchcraft. Have you been exposed to such? Also, are you a born again Christian? I encourage you to ask the Lord to show you any open door(s) to the demonic and then trust Him to show you what these doors are and how to close them, as you do what the Lord shows you to do on that regard, the doors will be closed. God bless you. I keep getting blasphemous thoughts, I've said it when I was young out loud. Don't think it was intrusive thoughts back then but I don't believe I knew exactly how powerful and what God was at the time. God is there for all of us but now I know more on the subject, I not meaning to say anything bad about God. I'm not religious but I believe in God and I have had fear that he would do bad things for me recently. I also keep saying these blasphemous thoughts in my head. I'm trying to overcome it all but yes, the past few weeks I have really struggled with these thoughts. I really don't want to say bad things about it and probably will continue to say it in my thoughts now carrying on after listening to your lovely prayer. Thank you Kathleen for this. I've wanted to learn more on such topics but it always makes me think of these bad thoughts then I start saying them in my head again. I'm hoping these thoughts can disappear. I keep apoligising once I say the bad things still. I'm in alot of fear. Also for example, if I see something or something happens that gets my adrenaline going, for example, someone on a rollercoaster or so. I start getting scared cause I feel I might experience something like it when I die if I do bad, hope that makes sense. This is around alot of different fears.
Hello Rob, concerning having said some blasphemous things when you were young out loud. The good news is, there is much grace where there is ignorance. For instance, see the apostle Paul who persecuted the church of Jesus Christ. Jesus stopped him in his tracks, saved his soul and anointed him to preach the good news. Later on, the apostle Paul said this, “Although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” (1 Tim.1:13 NKJV) The apostle Paul ended up becoming one of the most influential ministers of the Gospel and wrote about 2/3 of the New Testament. You can be encouraged. Concerning your fears of death, the way to overcome it in truth (i.e. with no false sense of security but in truth), is to recognize that you are a sinner, indeed deserving of hell and of the wrath of God-for God is the Judge and the Ruler of the earth and He is just and holy, but that Jesus came on the earth to die on the cross in order to pay the penalty for all of your sins on your behalf, penalty that is rightfully due to you (and same for all of us). Jesus died a horrible death on the cross and He was humiliated and beaten, so you wouldn’t have to die and go to hell. That’s the good news we Christians talk about. Not only was Jesus sent by the Father to die on your behalf because He loves you with an everlasting love, and wants you with Him for all eternity, but Jesus rose from the dead three days later, conquering death and making it possible for us to rise up in newness of life as well, starting right here on this earth when we receive Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. With Jesus in your heart, you will be a new creation the Bible says, with a new heart and a new spirit. The Lord will begin to empower you and help you to overcome these unwanted recurring thoughts and any other destructive cycles in your life. Choosing to turn from your sins and follow Jesus, and believing in what Jesus did for you, is all God asks of you to be saved. Once we believes, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of our heart and we become children of God. From that moment on, we enter into a relationship with the living God and the Spirit of God begins to lead us. Please let me know if you want to take that step and surrender your life to Jesus Christ, and I can lead you in prayer for salvation. From there, you will be born again and ready to die when your time comes as you continue in Him through repentance and faith. From there as well, it will be important to find yourself a biblically sound church and to begin to read the Bible and pray regularly to cultivate your relationship with God. I pray this helps. @@kathleenkaczmarek9190 Hey, sorry for the huge delay in getting back to you. I've put it off but have done many sinful things overall, I find it hard not too. One thing I do, as of addiction and it just feels good and helps me get through life in general. I like to say I do believe in God, however I have something that's been on my mind which I don't know if I should say it. To do with other religions and everything else in general. Also when I think anything about this whole subject I always get these intrusive thoughts again and they keep playing on my mind, I feel like I randomly say them sometimes but I don't mean to say them. Hello Rob, I understand. The good news is that Jesus came to save us from our sins, because in and of ourselves we can’t stop the cycle of sin due to our sinful nature. Apart from having Jesus in our heart, we are slaves of sin. Jesus offers to save us from the slavery to sin and addiction. To no longer be controlled by habits, sins and addictions is truly freeing. Jesus has a purpose for your life, Rob. He loves you with a complete love and He desires to set you on a new course with destiny and purpose. I can assure you that there is a way out. God is a God of the heart and He knows that these thoughts are not your heart toward Him. God is the most loving and understanding being in the entire universe. He knows and understands all things. He is full of grace, truth and mercy. As you stop fearing these thoughts, they will begin to lose their power over you and as you stop engaging with them, they will begin to fade away over time.
