Ann acts very natural on camera. She also vibed very well with Shu Ann. Would love to have her on the show again, if Clicknetwork has another nail related episode. :)
The yinikiz polygel is amazing and so cheap. I've been using it for quite some time and I just love it! The hard consistency really helps to do all the whole hand at once without melting onto the cuticle. I use it to do my own nails at home.
Can you just use a regular gel polish lamp to cure the polygel or do you need one that's a little stronger? I'm getting ready to purchase my first polygel set and I want to be ready to use it as soon as it arrives lol
So much good info in this! Especially at 13:29 when Ann was talking about a clean up brush. I use one every time I paint my nails (which is weekly lol). E.l.f. makes a tiny little concealer brush that's only $1 that's PERFECT for this! No need to buy a $20 brush from a nail company that's specifically marketed as a clean up brush!
You're so right about the dominant hand first 🤭😂 you feel like you try more in the beginning and then get bored. Lol so it looks much nicer. Very good tip!
I REALLY LOVED THIS!! I do think this has been my favorite episode ever!! I always paint my dominant hand first but I will do both coats on both hands THEN paint my thumbs. This way I always have my thumbs for quick oopsies and I always have oopsies haha. 🤪
$10 is not inclusive of the UV light hahah.. not sure how much that would cost I always paint the nails of my dominant hand first... works well every time!
I do dip nails all the time, you are not suppose to use the activator everytime you dip, also you you are suppose to do a clear first then color, dip into the color at least 3 times, then clear, then the activator, then file ALL over the nail, then activator, then the top coat, if done right it can last you at the very most 6 weeks
You didn't do the dip powder application and that's why it didn't turn out right. You are supposed to do 2 or 3 coat of the powder wiping off the excess powder each time before you put the activator on and then you file and do another coat of activator to make sure it's all cured before putting on the top coat.
