Brother in Christ... I too wanted anything to confirm I am right w/ the LORD. That I just missed it when IT SIMPLY IS GRACE ,His Blood that frees me from struggling and struggling to get to Him. To believe Jesus Christ finished it all on the Cross. Be still and know... AMEN.

I have been receiving so many revelations since I started honoring God for them by writing them down, and this was my very first one (I hope it blesses you): “Lord, I repent of striving. Help me to do so no longer. You are the God of Glory, and you have purified me from all unrighteousness forever so that I can shine your glory into the world for the Kingdom! It is you who purifies, sanctifies, and justifies apart from anything I could possibly do.” Oh, here’s another one, it was number fifty: “REMEMBER THUS! When you are afraid that you are falling out of connection with God, when you are white-knuckling it, let go - you feel like you can’t do it, and that’s because you CAN’T. Raise your white flag in surrender, and sit back and prepare to witness the majesty and power of the Lion of Judah as He comes roaring to your rescue! He loves to win your battles for you!

* Silence is the access to fullness & abundance * When your soulish realm is completely silent, then your body will yield to the Holy Spirit * Noise is the sign of lacking the presence of the Holy Spirit * Stillness is the sign of fullness * The Lord's still-small-voice is only heard in stillness

OUR WOMEN'S GROUP GETS TOGETHER EVERY MONDAY AFTERNOON. BY GOING TO THIS GROUP, I AM NOW ABLE TO SIT STILL FOR 7 MINUTES BEFORE THE LORD IN THE MORNING AND SEVEN MINUTES STILL BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. IT TAKES MUCH DISCIPLINE, HAVE NOT TOTALLY ARRIVED BUT THANK GOD IT IS COMING MORE AND MORE EASIER. THANK YOU ERIC FOR POSTING THIS TIMELY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT AGAIN.... DISCIPLINE AND SITTING STILL ARE TWO OF MY CHALLENGES! START OFF SLOWLY AND WORK YOUR WAY UP. MY HUSBAND CAN SIT AND BE STILL FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME... Try reading the works of Madam Guyon. I attended a retreat where we practiced just being silent .... How profound. If you'd like I can forward material used to step through the process. People were HEARING from God.

I have never seen this man before in my life. His teachings are so simple, but so powerful. Often times when I get silent before God I feel myself not in myself and then I wake up lol. God always gives me rest when I’m silent. I feel like I must admit and say so much, but the beauty I found in his presence is not saying much at all.

Amen!! Isn't it beautiful?! This past year the Lord answered me when I asked him, how do I go deeper in your presence, in you, Lord? The Lord led me to Fresh Oil with Chris Garcia then through him, I discovered Eric Gilmour and its been amazing. Now it's time for discipline to just be still. In being still in the Lord He has given me more hunger of him, a great desire for His word, wisdom that I lacked (still need) but oh what a blessing! I realized one thing, Knowing that the enemy is a copycat, a counterfeit, I realize why yoga came into place in this world and I rebuke it in Jesus name. It is a counterfeit of the stillness we need to be in the presence of God, our creator. Lord Jesus, to you be all the glory.

There is nothing wrong with asking to sow into your ministry,of course it has to be in balance and not under compulsion.Its biblical brother. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. Without works, your faith is dead (James 2:14.) God requires obedience, and that means an external display of devotion others can see. Jesus said this over and over and over and over again.

4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. Romans 4. Obedience isn't "works". It's obedience. By works I'm referring to those things we do in our flesh, thinking they will "score brownie points" with God and make others see how righteous we are. Obedience should follow a life truly lived for God. It isn't works though. It's a humble following of God because we know He loves us. That life can't be hidden.

Waiting in his presence is great and rewarding because it draws you nearer to him but you cannot doing it all by yourself .you have to die to self .to sit in silence with no detracting not easy . only God can do that we can't do it by ourselves. his presence is so sweet so i pray and ask holy spirit for strength in my queit moments with him . What a beautiful and deep message, you are close to the best of contemplative prayer. Many, including myself, cannot achieve such stillness or quietness of spirit. Our hearts are simply not at our own disposal. We need the Spirit to pull us up, but then we fall back down hard again and suffer devastating attacks. This is all very discouraging, and makes prayer seem not only futile, but even self-defeating. Lord, save us from the world and from ourselves, we are too weak to approach you in this life, and we are greatly vulnerable to destruction from the demonic realm. . Grant us your strength and your hope or we have no chance to be saved. And forgive us for our utter incapacity and failure.

God reminded me exactly these same 3 verses earlier today while reading the Bible: Zechariah.2:13, Habakuk.2:20, Zephaniah.1:7. Especially the Zephaniah hit me and how it applies to preparing to the great day of the LORD. And now I opened your video. Sobering! "Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD; For the day of the LORD is at hand." (Zeph.1:7, NKJV)

Zechariah is talking about The Messiah coming to Jerusalem. Psalms 37/7 speaks of being still in God's Presence. Also, Pslams 62/5, speaks to being silent in His Presence.
