i have a rare/"incurable" cancer, live in CA and worked in healthcare for 21 yrs. and I cant even get on this or through this process. it can take 1-2 yrs. CA is the worst state in my opinion for this and homelessness is high. maybe its a sign God wants me to live and work even though my doctors love saying that ill die? ; ) BTW at work in healthcare, Im taking care of patients who have treatable and conditions, and Im serving them with a life threatening illness. Think our system needs reform? yes it does.

been on ssi 30 years in spokane and then in about 8 years ago declare schizophrenia in los angles,and the a year ago schizoaffective back in spokane. but still on ssi- I had cancer still might, had surgery done to my brain, and just had hip surgery, now my brain can't hold data. iam 64. and do have picture of entities. how can i get on ssdi-also seizures now.

I went for a mental exam june 2 this year i didnt passed due to my specific learning disability cus i strugle with everything i even work and can’t maintain any type off job ;( hopefully my aproved letter is positive

This is great information as I’m about to apply for Disability at 55yrs old. I had 3 herniated discs and I’m on worker’s compensation now with 2 Labral Tares in my shoulder. My body is hurting bad! I’ve seen videos that showed Extremely long waiting time to have income come in. What are we supposed to do for income in the meantime?

Social Security does allow people to pursue some part-time work while their claim is pending. Please reach out to Social Security as they will be able to provide more detailed information on this matter.

I have almost the same problems, how is it going. Let me know, im scared! I work every day in such pain and cant take pain meds because of my job.

@@theinstigator1931 Ya I’m waiting to find out. It’s ridiculous to have to wait a long time possibly years to get approval. I worked all my life and put into it and it’s time to use it but it has to go though a bunch of crap! In the meantime I can loose a lot/everything I’ve worked hard for! That doesn’t make sense at all !! 🤷🏼‍♂️😡
