This is what makes Mythic Legions great. And yes simple paint aps make a big difference. For example, take a knight head painted to match a silver dwarf. And you end up with a dwarf paladin to lead a squad of dwarf troop builders. Alternately use a barbarian head, and you have a runic knight to lead your troops.
