This is the first time I have watched your video, and it is Ironic that it says, "Dear Sister, Happy Birthday." I actually chuckled; Tomorrow is my Birthday. I do want to say Thank you for the information you shared.
Love your work. I used to make lots of silk flower arrangement for around puplits in churches, but I never did have a glue kettle like that. I used a hot glue gun sometimes.
Is there a temporary adhesive alternative to the hot glue?? It would be nice to be able to recycle everything when you want to make other arrangements.
Jerry, I have tried to find the video which shows you completing the arrangement you started in your "Getting Started with a Silk Floral Arrangement," and I have been unsuccessful. Please tell me where to find it.
That video is for Members Only. So, if you sign up at designsbyjerry.com/iloveflowers you will receive several emails that will show you how to tie bows. The sixth video you will receive will be the video you are wanting. Hope this helps.....thanks for watching.
It will be mailed to you in a few days. you will first get several videos that show how to tie a variety of bows...the sixth video will show you how I finish this arrangement.
On your second piece of Styrofoam when you're putting it in instead of gluing it I would use sticks glue the stick maybe two to three four if needed because when you close at bottom then you can't get through to that second styrofoam on the bottom that is something yes it took me a minute to figure out but I always use leftover steaks in ething to just put them in like a glue the glue the end of the stick and then stick it through the styrofoam it holds it very well and it won't move instead of having to glue the whole bottom to the second piece or the first piece because then if you glue it you again cannot stick a flower deep just just my opinion of course thanks
