@Elgato, you should enable hotkeys/actions/etc with folders. For example, I may have a set of excel actions I want to use as hotkeys. I will open my excel folder to all my actions. But what if the action of tapping that folder brought me to excel? That saves me a key once I've entered the folder and changes the dynamic to entering a set of controls for that application. I'd imagine it's a simple change on your end as well
I wish the USB cable was removable like on my mk.2. The fixed cable on the Neo is too short for my home set up and too long for my travel set up. The other features are great but the fixed cable is a dealbreaker. Please let me change the cable length myself.
@@AnomieDomine - I could use an extension for the home set up, but 1) a fixed cord is too long when using next to the laptop. 2) Packing/storing the fixed cord is messy (no cable management). 3) You can't replace a permanent cord if it breaks (which will happen for a portable set up). It was a problem with the permanent cord on the mk1. It seems Elgato likes to repeats past mistakes.
Now we need a Pro - XL format with removable cable, touch screen and knobs, and the Neo status and page buttons. It's only a matter of time before someone releases a killer combo of the features that are randomly spread through the current lineup Never going to happen but imagine if it were modular - interchangeable magnetic 2x2 or 4x1 pods of screens, buttons, knobs
The only thing frustrating with this showcase is that all this is just surface level usage of the stream deck capabilities. Also, the Gen 2 is still better than the neo just for the added amount of buttons. I can even change the face plate with a 3D printed one.
This video was aimed at not only new users of Stream Deck but also users who may not be as familiar with computers as streamers and content creators. We have more Stream Deck content in the works over the coming months which takes this further.
I have owned streamdeck twice, and sold it twice. My main dealbreakers are 1. The clicking experience: Mushy & inconsistent 2. Bluetooth Do you have plans to fix this? I will pay $100 more if it happens.
1:30 Can you tell me please!, What is this Docking Station brand & model name or number that you contacted the Stream deck to it? I saw it also on your previous video for the new Mic. I'm using Mac & I'm searching for a good Docking Station to connect all my Elgato devices to it. Waiting for your reply. Thanks.
Hi there, This is the Corsair USB100: www.corsair.com/us/en/p/hubs-docks/cu-9000003-na/usb100-7-port-usb-c-usb-a-expansion-hub-cu-9000003-na It's a great option because you can attach every Neo product to it at the same time without needing adapters
Hi there, it doesn't appear that we yet have direct integration with Figma however users have been using Stream Deck with Figma by means of keyboard shortcuts and Hotkey Actions.
Stream Deck Neo is a new addition to our Stream Deck lineup. While it has less keys than for instance our mainstream Stream Deck MK.2, it does have dedicated Touchpoints for switching pages and an infobar for displaying system information. If you were considering a Stream Deck Mini, then Stream Deck Neo would indeed have more features.
