I realize you have bigger plans in the future, so it may be premature to say, but you really need an indepth tutorial on how to use Forge for creating your on interface. I really love your product for many years now and I appreciate the direction you went in the recent release. Your future looks really bright!
Thanks so much! We are well aware that tutorials are needed, unfortunately we just haven't been able to get to it yet. We will be doing in depth shard creation tutorials in the very near future.
@@GameGlass Thanks for the response! I have taken some time to play with Forge and its fairly easy to use. Some of the little things you added are extremely good! IE the grid lines and spacing numbers when your moving items around and lining them up. Its complex enough though that it does take some time to understand what everything is and does. As with anything that allows such end user flexibility (Virpil software, whoa!). I have more free time than most, but as I get older my patience level drops. This isn't just the plug and play it use to be. Its a good thing you have done here but requires time. A tutorial would help in that regard. I do have a Q though. Is it possible to use an image from our own library rather than the net? I can't seem to get it to work with my own pics. I look forward to see what you folks do in the future.
@@GameGlass All well and good for "videos to come later" if some things were in place. Like usability in the meantime. We purchased these things back when, and now are unable to use them due to an overly complex transition. These are unplayable now without some basic "set up" instructions allowing us to make what "used to work" still work. So now we have virtual bricks, pending instruction.
@@GameGlass would it be possible to be able to select current SC binds without having to look them up? Some sort of interface...when making shards in forge? I admit I'm spoiled with voice attack and HCS voice packs...I can never remember the binds, well just the basic ones...
You showed us how to load it, but you failed to show how to setup the shards to be used. I have GG loaded on both computer and device (with same login info), and it still has no options to use specific shards.
We don't need videos... we need ONE video to tell us how to make use of our shards TODAY. This is pretty ridiculous. I walked away from GG back when this change landed, and tried again today to approach it again, and there's still no viable instruction information to get me playing Star Citizen again with my GG. Still. Before you gut a product we paid for, and then get us to pay again for new shards before we realize we can't get it working, you should have left the product playable for those purchased, or at least produced a single video showing how to get these shards working TODAY. You have a video about customizing, but no video about how to get it working in the first place. Cart before the horse, no?
Strange, GG just works. I had trouble once hit up their discord and these guys are eager to help, this comment makes no sense. If I tell you my horse can pull a plow don't worry about the plow just go get the horse. Furthermore I got a free lifetime subscription for no reason other than GG is awesome and I still pay subscription fees cause GG is awesome. Guess what it works YESTERDAY and TODAY....
