I have a back yard that I want to invisible f3nce in. Can u bury the part of the single loop about 2 feet for the part I want the dog to cross? I'm trying to avoid running a double loop which takes a LOT of yard space from the dog

They do learn that the collar removal means no correction. Or you can drive them over the fence line in a car.

I’ve used Invisible Fence for 20 years. I live next to a sheep farm and the farmer would shoot a dog in with his lambs. The dogs touch it once or twice and they are trained. I’ve always been able to remove the collars after a few months. They know their boundaries. I have 15 acres fenced. Invisible Fence is a great technology. Not cheap though.

I believe that anyone who uses an invisible fence shock collar to train the dog to stay in the lawn should put that on themselves and allow 120 volts and hold button held for 2 minutes prior to putting it on your animal it's mean and it's cruel...

I hear what you’re saying, I don’t want to hurt my dog, he’s my child. I would zap myself, if I felt it was inhumane, I wouldn’t use it. Unfortunately we share land with Neighbors and they don’t want a fence. We either explore this option or our guy is stuck inside all day, or unsafe in the yard and very likely to kill wildlife. It a tough choice, thankfully if we do go for it, he’s a very cleve boy and hopefully learn quickly.
