Yeah but just will take time. Even just do Yolo stuff lol But, you guaranteed that universal move. And over time you'll just know the color that comes up and know what you have. Just will take longer to muscle memory

Dude the amount of times I've gone to use a jade move and it's already switched to mileena is kinda frustrating tho. I don't wanna count to 6 WHILST fighting for my life lol
It's actually just based on skill. Like just monitor the characters. And unless you use a move as soon as the character pops up just be thinking about what to do with the next character. And even if you mess up most of the moves will combo too. If you use the main R1 button the Fan toss, Glaive toss, and Ball roll all are essentially combo confirms. So if you do go for jade and it switches on you it gets a pop up just got alternate your combo route.
True, the more I lab especially with shao I realize they're kinda interchangeable but in the heat of a match it's a bit of a hindrance. The fan ESPECIALLY cus of the push back
@@mes1est yes but when you think about it that is the only hindrance of her. I mean I once used a combo with four kameo assists lol. Her recharge time is insane, almost all her moves are safe if not all of them, the fan and glaive are great projectiles especially for characters like Shao, Ashrah, or Johnny since they either don't have projectiles or they don't go full screen or they are too slow, she has an escape move since you can do any unsafe move and get out of it by using fan lift so she is basically Sareena, Stryker, subzero, and scorpion all fused together. She has an anti air sai throw with Mileena and also an overhead ball roll so she can mix ppl and get a pop up out of it. So yes that rng can be obnoxious but if she didn't have that she would take the game by storm. Like literally no other kameos would be used. I can already see her making a huge impact on the competitive scene. Sonic is already showing her potential with Nitara and is going great. Ninja has showed great synergy with her on lui kang. I play almost the whole roster but I main ashrah. And she easily has the most synergy with ashrah it isn't even funny. Serena was always the go to ashrah pick but it was annoying to play against zonners bc you could not do much. Now you have Sareena and sub in one kameo. And tons of players use ashrah so I can already see Dragon, Makoran, and many more using this kameo and taking the competitive scene by storm.
Definitely plan to try her out with both reptile and ashrah she looks sort of straight forward but keeping up with the timing and her changing is going to take time.
In the lab she is amazing. But practical set ups in a Match might be a different story. I did a few online matches and it was not bad but not great either.
That’s why you gotta learn what to do with specific characters- like with Lao I’ll do 212 into flavor and switch to the different variation and now I have access to armor combos etc. it’s not bad after you get it down
She adds a lot to Quan Chi, especially for consistent combos off his 21 string which previously only Sareena could. His zoning game only gets stronger too.
I think her ambushes are the main thing you gotta remember cuz comboing off her summons is pretty easy except for the kitana disguise (for me at least)
My grind through god rank really switched up for the better once I started using Khameleon. Her grab combos are actually rlly easy, and reptile has MIX for once! I rlly hope they don’t nerf her, I was about ready to drop reptile

Is there anybody that never bought khameleon, that all of a sudden has her? I have the kombat pack but she showed up as 6.99 in my premium shop and now she's playable but I didn't pay for her..
Yeah ..give it a couple weeks, people will be back to using the usual cameo bunch, the life cycle of this game. Release character... yay new character and cameo! plays for 2 weeks, then never sees them again.
@@MicroMakesMusic think of it like going from B- to B+😂. no but fr, he gets jump in combos from his enhanced skull projectiles and he can get meterless combos off of tentacle grab. not to mention he also gets extra utility from mileena sais and more anti zoning with jades glow. also he gets some crazy combos with jade galive into kitana fan lift
@@shal6401 no matter how many more combo options he gets, it doesn’t change his ass frames and his gaps in his strings. It might bump him from bottom 3 to bottom 5
I'm pleasantly surprised with Khameleon being a fixed switch order with the ability to force switch by holding R1 or doing Clear Glass (B+R1) so it's not random. In Kombat Kast they stated it would be Random, where if you had Jade it was a 50/50 to get Kitana or Mileena and had no control over who it went to. This would have made her unviable.
all that recharge and utility comes after mastering quite a big skill cap. it’s not easy to use her, people who can do it need to get good stuff in return.
Pay 2 win for who? Certainly not casuals, because there is no way they will be able to master Khamelons cameo system long term. The only people who will be using Khameleon long term and mastering her are pros, and lets face it, they all bought the premium edition day one regardless.
@@samhain81 A katana Vs a butter knife is still a katana Vs a butter knife no matter the wielder. I, whos got 60 games ranked, have already stomped players using Khameleon. So obviously not only pro players get it. But give these player a little time and they will have an advantage.
