Really enjoy your videos on modular. Im considering getting into modular and these videos are very accessable to a newbie since you are moving at a slower pace (module by module). There are tons of other great modular vids and channels but they have the tendency to throw in lots of complicated stuff very quickly. They also have tons of modular gear making me feel like I have to buy EVERYTHING, but you have shown you can still get fun out of just a couple of modules. thanks

I recently saw your video about the Microfreak and although I never thought I would, endet up buying it a 2 weeks ago and I'm so happy with it. I'm not planning to get into modular, but it's still so great to watch you videos, I really love your way of presenting.

It's really cool how you show making music with a few eurorack modules. With big eurorack setups, it's confusing to know what module does what. I like how you showed a smaller setup and a way to get started.

Really enjoyed the previous modular video and this one too! I looked through the rest of your channel videos and looks like you stopped with this series. I do see the one where you built a sample library with a much more fleshed out set of modules. Would love to see more intro videos following on from this one! Really nice intro videos on modular! So far you have been always recording one "instrument" of plaits into Ableton but is it also possible to output multiple of the "instruments" of plaits oscillators at the same time (possibly towards other modules for effects or something else)?

I have a plaits, and you can sorta do that, but not really. Each LED in the middle is a different synth model (8 green and 8 red for 16 models), and you can't send multiple outputs from different models. However, for each model, there's an "AUX" output, which is different depending on the model. For some, it's an alternate version of the synth model, so you have two similar but different outputs. For other models, like the percussive models, the AUX just sends the noise click that excites the main output.

Ataxia user here... Using it with Keystep Pro, couldn't find a way to keep an oscillator playing while I'm pressing the key. I mean, I can only send a modulation to a VCA, doesn't matter how long I play the key. Would love to know how to have "longer gates" using ataxia - btw, I use hysteria, Eudemonia and Nostalgia as well.

The one dislike is probably from some elitist type who couldn't look past you case without rails. Lol. Thanks for the video. I'm still waiting on my case to ship, but gonna be getting into this thing called modular soon enough
