Acting was so good, I actually felt like I was stopped by a charity worker and had to walk away from my computer... PTSD!

I remember i went for a job as one of these people in sydney it was DODGY, every week was a different charity and you sold "raffle tickets" door to door, the job was commission only. So if you didnt sell any you made nothing for the day. getting paid commision on charity "donations" wasnt bad enough only 5% of the ticket price went to the chairty themself

This was fucked lmao. As someone who worked for a charity and left because i hated doing this to people, you fucking nailed this bro. It's kinda nuts just how manipulative and disingenuous this whole industry is. And make no mistake, charity donation work is an industry, just as cold and capitalist as door to door salesmen and call centres dialling numbers at random on a list.

Doing face to face is actually the best way to make money for a charity. I doubt anyone wakes up and decides to randomly donate to a charity so think about these people as more of someone who just encourages and inspires people to help out fantastic causes although this is funny it's still the best way to help charity
