I always wash dishes as I go I never leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight…..like you I live on my own so only a few bits to wash anyway….I work 12 hour shifts so I try to do a little tidy every evening….I do have a dishwasher but rarely use it…..laundry I do towels tea towels linens etc at weekend and during the week I do my uniforms and clothes again I try not let it build up…I have a place for everything and everything in it’s place…I was off today so hoovered all the rooms washed floors dusted and cleaned…it was such a lovely day I did wash my towels and dog bedding got them all out in the line….
Despite me washing all the dishes in our home and being the only one to do so because my Partner won't touch any of it, it still piles up and is a never ending struggle. Easier to just do it than continually shout. The benefits of living by yourself!
I wash up as I go and never leave anything for later as that may not be until the next day. I wash glasses and cups first then plates and pots and pans at the end. I do not go to bed unless the kitchen is clean and ready for the next day. Sometimes I feel too tired to clean but I know I will be annoyed with myself if I have to fight for space to make my morning coffee!
I LOVE VIDEOS LIKE THIS! 🎉 I can do chores alongside and for someone who spends a lot of time in the house because of different illnesses I love to see the day to day stuff get a spotlight 😁 hope you feel better
I’ve never had a dishwasher, I am the dishwasher!! I do cutlery then cups, bowls, plates etc then pans; casserole dishes , Oven trays etc. often soak anything that needs it before I wash up or after again if needed. Always wash any glasses separately. Three of us and I wash up after every meal .. Do get others to wash up at least twice a week especially if Ive cooked a big roast dinner etc. I do laundry many times a week, do the beds one day a week , all the towels twice a week and clothes wash usually every other day! Just the ironing I don’t enjoy! Always jobs round the house to be done! X
Such lovely gifts you brought your friend for her birthday. I love the Sol Janero products. I would love to see more of your shopping trips with your lovely mum Wendy ❤😊xxx
I’m same with you. I do not have a dishwasher because my place is too small for a dishwasher and just like you said that would have been the first thing that I would Have put in my house. All through my teenagers my parents used to tell me and my brother to do the dishes and my brother would always say I’ve got to go to the toilet 10 minutes later he would come out and I would be halfway through dishes. My parents always always knew why he went to the toilet and that particular time but when I asked my parents if we could get a dishwasher, they said no because we already have two lovely pair of dishwashers meaning us and I hated it. It would be lunch dinner breakfast dishes do. I use one of those sponges which you can put your dishwasher liquid in it and it’s like a scrubbing brush with a pad on the bottom where the washing up liquid would come out of.. I love to try and make dishwashing fun because of what I have just told you and I’ve also got this technique of washing my cutlery first I don’t know why it’s probably because I don’t want them to get stained by washing up liquid.
I know about Costco person I know works there oh wow I had an interview for the demos to do them but it didn’t work out nice to watch you clean I’m cleaning the house now The cakes are huge reasonable price too
I hate washing up too, we also have a smaller kitchen so we've got a small counter-top dishwasher which is fine for the 2 of us. Wouldn't be without it!!!😂
Your washing up style is the same as mine. I do have a compact dishwasher which I do use but not all the time. It was my treat when I had my kitchen done. It is great when you have guests or a cook in.
Hi Becky, I have the John Lewis fan in coral and it’s so handy especially when I’m commuting in and out of London. Interesting to see the Stackers wash bag, I’m a big fan of their jewellery boxes and have quite a lot of them! They make such good presents as well if you can pick bits up in their sales. The men’s stuff is really good for presents for the man who has ‘everything’ 😂
Loved this vlog Becky .Wow!!! I have 2 Stackers & they are brilliant ,love them so much .So i am going to buy a new wash bag in the Stackers range ,they are just so classy not a bit garish or ordinary looking as i don't like the usual one's .Lovely to see you washing up like myself ,i am also the dish washer .xx🤗💛
Really enjoyed the vlog. I do love your vlogs and would love to see more. It's like spending time with a friend. Oh, when I saw the Costco carrot cake and red velvet, it's made me want to buy some!! What a terrible influence! Perhaps in August for my son's birthday! I have those neck fans that you get from Amazon. You wear them around your neck and they work very well.
Hi love vlogs like this.. I have a dishwasher but I Ca6 go to bed till all my kitchen is clean. I Love house work. Sad I no lol I always take magnetic hooks on a cruise perfect ĥsng stuff snywere Xxx
I have the same problem with booking holiday time. I am a Nanny for a lovely family but I always feel guilty being off as if I not a work they can’t be at work. Love your videos you are truly refreshing 💕
Love a chatty vlog- you got lots done! Don’t suppose you noticed if Costco had Birkenstocks in yet? Spring/summer I’ve managed to buy Birkenstocks before at a really good price
I notice it looks like you don’t rinse your washing up…is there some sort of particular detergent that does not require rinsing? Would sincerely love to know if available in other countries…
Hi Becky, The male spiders are coming in to mate with girl spiders. So it was probably a male, females are a lot bigger. I hate spiders cannot kill them though. I enjoyed your vlog I always do. I love watching what you have brought. My granddaughter's always show what they have brought. Love Patricia ❤️
Yes, but it’s a lot harder due to his work commitments. But we split the cost of the travel and visiting him in the South of France really isn’t too bad!
Sure, let’s invalidate every childless individual’s to-do list because it doesn’t involve kids. Gosh. Still doesn’t make it fun. And polite reminder that not everyone wants kids in the future either.
@@belindabattersby9120 have a great one, thanks ☺️ Probably down to all the chores I don’t have due to my lack of a few kids 😊😊 Have a LOVELY evening Belinda! x
