With Tate gaining speed by the weekend, we decided it was time to get him more comfortable going faster by working with Bill from Powerband Suspension! We worked on dialing in the balance of the motorcycle to give Tate a more confident ride out in the bumps and rough terrain. All-in-all, a solid day out testing for a better setup before the Regional! 🤙🏼

@TwoTwoTV Thank you for all the content lately, weve been getting more content in the last few weeks. I know how hard and time consuming it can be to shoot the footsge, compile it, organize it onto a drive and edit it and add all the lower thirds, graphics throughout and the intro and ending and then rendering it and compressing it into a smaller hd file like h.264 or larger like prores but still small enough to stream easily. Last episode I noticed Tate was going faster than his setup. Chad obviously saw the same and did some testing. The bike looked a lot more settled and Tate was flying. Kiah took the opportunity to sprint away from Tate before the suspension adjustment 😂

Dude, having to translate the feedback from the bike and adjusting it to the track is such a balance game for what makes you faster in one section can slow you down in the next. Stay blessed 🙌🏾

I absolutely love suspension testing. Understanding that my time and effort is rewarded with a more enjoyable and safer ride feels incredible. Plus I know that almost no other riders that I race against do any testing. Puts me ahead before the gate ever drops.

to a degree yes, but Chad Reed just has so much experience with testing suspension it's better to let him do most of the troubleshooting

Add some compression to stop it from bouncing back. Not too much. just enough to fix your issue.

This video was a big missed opportunity for Chad Reed to share some of his knowledge with all of us. The only suspension term he used was “balance” Chad never said compression or rebound. Share with us how you get that balanced feeling. All these things he can’t unsee unlearn and unknow, he also won’t share

I’m not sure what u know about motorsports and racing but most companies / race teams don’t openly share all their years or research / testing with the world. U will only ever get pieces, and With respect to PowerBand. . We appreciate that they let us share this much. That is their business to provide the service to paying customers. I’m sorry you’re disappointed. But that IS racing. We didn’t miss any opportunity, we shared that Tate was having his first real suspension test and getting his bike better.

@@elliereed_mrstwotwo I’m not sure how much you know about RU-vid channels, but James Stewart has one. And he is able to break down what a bike is doing and how to remedy it. I just thought you might want to be better than him for once

Dude it is awesome for what you are doing give them the best but just remember all kids don’t have that keep moto moto its not about what you have it is about what you got and ringing out I think a lot of people forget that and a lot of talented kids get discouraged because of the rich kids
