Jackbox is always some of my favorite Northerlion Extended Universe content. From the NLSS to one-offs, I almost always enjoy hearing the crew shoot the shit and come up with sometimes terrible, sometimes hilarious, always entertaining, and occasionally LEGENDARY humor. It makes me wish I had a larger group of friends I could play Quiplash or something with. I played it with my Bible study group one time, but when you're trying to keep it PG-13 rated out of respect for others' sensitivities, I found it hard to drub up humor I find funny. I also learned that it is hard to come up with something funny on the fly. Mad props to the stream bois.
I watched ChilledChaos and his friends play this too. The wheel trivia game is probably my favorite of the new Jackbox games to watch. It combines silly trivia with wheel of fortune. That and the Cave one are the stand outs to me from a "game" perspective. The word jumble one falls into the "make up nonsense for laughs" territory like a Cards against Humanity where the humor of being oh so random wears off pretty quick. The detective game is really neat but really complex. That's more for a dedicated group of people paying attention to all the rules (IE neither NLSS/Chilled's friends) and the animation game is more silly drawing stuff which is always good but nothing new.
i know this video is too old for fresh interaction from the great Northern himself, but can i just say the animated winking profile picture you drew as your icon for the first drawing game IS SO GOOD. I have stared at it for a good five minutes now. It is literally perfect.
Having only gotten recently into the NL family of products, watching this feels like I've been sent back in time to witness the first performance of Romeo and Juliet
