I. Love. You. Years of guitar and yet I never really deep dove into the tone of my favorite band, but here we are, and now I'm as passionate as ever to. Thank you man, you're a blessing.
I'm a Deftones fanatic, producer and mixer. Sure, you could be 'close' but I can't tell 'cause it's camera audio. Would've loved to hear the tones properly.
Yeah, the audio isn't great, but that's why I put the pedal settings, the best price and the website to find it in the corner. You can find out exactly how close I got it to sound for around £27.
adrenaline's tone to me sounds like fuckin ass but in a cool way. it sounds like they had some phasing issues maybe from using 2 mics to record the cab
You made a video on Mt-2, ive seen it getting quite of hate even dubbed as the worst pedal of all time idk people say it sounds diff with different amps or guitar or maybe pickups can you please help me out on this..?
Thanks for watching! Yeah the MT2 is the internet punching bag. At the end of the day it's just a tool designed for a specific job, not EVERY job. It does the Nu-Metal sound really well, but that depends on how much time you're willing to fiddle with the EQ. If the Nu-Metal or High gain sound is what you're looking for, you don't need a lot of extra expensive equipment. I'm using stock pickups on a budget Ibanez from 2000, and a 20 year old 30w solid state Marshall with a broken drive channel, so I'm just using the un-modified MT2 that I bought in the late 90s straight into the clean channel. That's it, if you combined it with an eq or a decent amp it could probably be quite versatile.
@@jonnyboy1925 oh wow!! I didn't expect you to reply to me within an hour or so thank you SOOOO much lol!!! And one final question(probably) would it be advisable for a beginner to start with a MT-2 pedal, or should I focus more on learning the guitar itself?
@@twoh.am_ No worries. Learning guitar is a good start but my best advice is "Do it until it stops being fun" if you're no longer enjoying playing then stop and go back later. As for gear, my whole channel is about about having the most amount of fun on a budget. You don't need to spend thousand to have fun. Cheap second hand Metal zones are around if you look, they are practically indestructible so finding a working one shouldn't be an issue. Just remember: Don't over-spend, gear and guitars aren't going anywhere, you can always wait and buy something at a later time. Good Luck!
@@jonnyboy1925 Thank you for your concern, sir. I will take your consideration into account. You are a truly great person!!! And again I wish to express my sincere appreciation for your timely response!!
