I have yet to get sausage from my elk. Now, with the kids' loving elk, I'm going to splurge, spend the extra, and get some. Random question: How do you store your bow while driving the utv? This year was rough, and I tried keeping it in the case across the back seat. It worked, but you lose all back seat space and tore my soft case up.

I put mine in my hardcase and strap it down. I've also seen dudes use "graspur" mounts. The graspur mounts sure so save a lot of space but your bow will be in the elements if that's something your worried about.

@aspen5403 how do you strap it down? I have a northstar ranger and thought about trying to attach something in the bed but hate the fact of it possibly being in the elements. I'm not against getting a hard case and doing it this way. But if it's still not right, I don't want to spend the needed money. I've thought about trying to figure out some sort of strap system on the ceiling, but I am scared of the broadheads, and if my kids or someone was in the back and happen to get hurt.

@@jasondlion I just use ratchet straps and bungee cords. Two ratchet straps and two bungee cords works great for me and I've sent it through a lot. Just overlap them like an X
