I employed a lot of kids on construction sites. A young French backpacker would work for 16 hours a day for two teams on construction money. She didn’t do much. It didn’t matter. Tradies we’re guaranteed to turn up every day and never stop. She earned a fortune to continue her travels. The best part? I think she was completely unaware of what was going on. Lovely lovely little lady

I could watch her work all day

The nut in the center of the box is your aim point. Put your weight into it let the box do the work. Don’t mix your mud too thick or too loose lol I like to straighten my left arm or whatever arm is closest to the box so I ensure I’m getting good pressure on the wall that way it’s consistent and not wavy and hollow in spots.

Never saw a worker like her when I was in the trade.

Man, I wish mudding was that easy when I was doing it 40 years ago. And I REALLY wish we'd had someone like YOU on the crew.

Ok everyone is complimenting your appearance, so here is the tip! In 35 years I've never used boxes, they take too much time to manage for their outcome so far as I'm concerned a waste of money and valuable time which is money, you have great skill just keep developing it, there professional tip, 👍keep it flowing

Only one thing keep it clean, with a 4 in your back pocket and clean the blade and spillage will create what's called Christmas trees in the corner as you start if it's clean each pass it will reduce the amount of sanding needed or back wipe with the 10

Keep the nut on the wheels centered with your tape line, straighten your arm that is closest to the head when running a flat,and engage your core muscles. Also don't watch the box head, look a couple feet in front of you for a straight line. It's like staring at your steering wheel when driving,you wouldn't do that you would look where you want to go. Off to a great start though,we'll done.

Flip your left hand over, tighten the bottom blade screw, it's leaving a edge.

As far as I can tell your handling thectool.corecþly. putting good pressure on the box to the wall. ..not stop until the end of the run. Looks like your doing very well.. Good for you. Your a pro now.

You get more leverage if you grip the box handle with the palm of your hand facing down. Let's you walk a lil faster!

Times had changed level 5 used to be when you skimmed the whole wall. Looks you have a nail box to good kinda if their all in. Good for ceilings mainly hard to reach. Yes is skinny people lean into it i do same .

Best advice I could give you is, put your lead hand closer to the box. Kinda helps with the awkward weight of it. And think of your hand with the break as your steering wheel keep it straight the box stays straight. Other than that you look like you got it.

We used them 40 years ago in commercial Buildings 7" 10" and 12" small 3 for nail spotting

Fun fact: Level 6 Tools are demonstrated by a middle aged guy with a beer gut. They are higher quality and 25% cheaper and no one has ever bought one.

Probably a shorter handle and turn your left hand over so it’s easier to push on your handle. Your hold on the handle might feel better.

Problem is when its new it works fine for a few jobs but the constant clean and refill and finish is better and easier to power sand if you trowel.

Walk more infront of the box to get more leverage and controll. You will be able to move faster also and that will help the machine run nicer. Your are doing amazing nevertheless. And i could be wrong i am a lot. Good luck.

Suddenly my old drywall looks lousy

Left arm, try an over hand grip, instead of under hand... the way you are doing it locks elbow into your side, giving you less control of the box, other way allows you to lock with shoulder while leaning, allowing you to guide better and allow to flip box quicker for return coat of the flat. Breaking tip, at end, hit the break and just twist at your torsoe to lift away from the wall

I did drywall for 4-years full-time and drove me out of my mind. And then the Mexicans said they could do it better......I quit.

The only tip I would say is don't make ur mud to thick. Those been out for awhile.... family been doing drywall long time. Third generation here. U still need to tighten up on some things. But very good job.

On your off time, when you exercise, try using a half of a brick to strengthen your wrist adn arms. this will help. your doing great.
