Not ALL hair types lay this easy. She has a finer texture of hair. I'd like to see someone with a more course hair type show their results. It's a very nice outcome🙏🏾💜

She didn’t perm it at all; it’s just very fine and naturally curly; the full texture is clearly there Fine hair permed looks very different, and doesn’t curl well when wet (ends are typically very straight, even on short hair when permed) But I agree with the other commenter here that the natural washed version was nice; a little curl cream and defining would’ve been really nice. This one was wayy too much moose product for a style that could be achieved with less

Nairobi has the best products! Many people sleep on that Black owned company and they've been out for years! And that wrap lotion is like liquid Gold! It holds, doesn't flake nor make your hair dry and brittle and it moisturizes and makes hair soft and silky and shiny!
I totally agree. I use to swear by Lotta Body until they were out one day. So I picked up Nairobi 😱. That was 10 years ago and I never looked back. Love this product 🙌🏽🙌🏽.

Not sure what all that is⁉️Closure🤷🏽♀️ but you’re right. Doing too much plus the most is off putting in our faces. A baby would scream to look at some of these alienated faces. As naturally pretty as so many Black women are, I just don’t understand it. Seriously. I don’t get it. Go back and look at some vintage photos of Black women and imagine them in all that “ fit ”. Impossible. We had that truly feminine beauty of a woman and just threw it away trying to look like someone else. oh well. Won’t get all of us!

Short, texturized hair is high maintenance. I used to tell the ladies ‘ if I give this look, it’s gonna be hard to maintain it at home because you gonna have to put in the work! ‘
Gorgeous! Have you tried wet roller setting it the top? Might save time and heat damage waving and drying, then heat styling with the iron. It takes some practice though! Find a stylist who did it that way in the 90s before ceramic irons were a thing 😊

Very cute! This was my style back in the 1990's. Foam wrap, hooded dryer, curling or flat iron, then rake comb. We called it the Halle Berry cut and look 😂❤

Beautiful! I would often ask my stylist to cut and style my natural hair this way and she often said that I need a Relaxer. I know it could be done without one!
She's right though, it really depends on your hair texture, it definitely gotta be forgiving along the sides and back otherwise it'll look unkept and undefined
