Slovin's Formula is used in computing for the sample size in a non-probability sampling. This formula is particularly used when the researcher do not have enough information on the characteristics of the population.
In this video, ANA PH presents the formula and she provides sample on how to use it. In addition, she highlights the other considerations in getting the sample size.

I was assigned as group leader for our research activity before. Honestly, I had no prior knowledge about making a research a paper for us to begin with. Aside from the lectures discussed by our teacher, I really struggled to understand some parts needed for a research paper. Good afternoon Ma'am ☺️ private school po kasi ange pagcoconductan po namin ng study Ma'am and unfortunately po since nagkaroon po ng pandemic ay kaunti lang po ang nag-enrolled. We are focusing Ma'am sa intermediate pupils po but the students number are too small po. Sa grade 4 po ay 11 students, grade 5 po ay 4 Students and grade 3 po ay 3 students. Can we use this small size of number of students as our respondents Ma'am? Experimental Research po kami. And when I tried this formula po, 17.22 po lumabas and when I add 1 it's 18 po. So meaning magiging respondents na po namin ang lahat ng 18 Intermediate Pupils? No need to get the sample size po? Thank you for answering Ma'am ☺️

As per Doc Padama said in one of his video about sampling techniques, he said we can use Purposive Sampling. Hindi po ba magiging mixed method siya? my research study is about 5 universities students's strength is 182304 which is selected by non probablity sampling purpsive sampling method . can ia use this slovin's formula ..?and most important at what level of significance ? if ia use 95% then margen of error 5% which is produce very low sample size. so when i use 97% there is 3% which is sufficient .but how can i justify 97%is better then 95%.. level of significance ..

Pwede mo ask bakery if ano average no.ng customer-buyers nila. Then dun mo kunin bilang ng respondents mo. Pwede ka din naman mag-set like for example, 100 customers per day. Then tsaka ka gumamit sampling method if ok.

I-enumerate po dyan yung mga procedure na gagawin mo in terms of research ethics, such as but not limited to the following: - respect for participants/respondents by means of INFORMED CONSENT/ ASSENT FORM -risk benefit analysis Nakapaloob po dito yung pagdisclose ng sufficient info about the research, yung being accountable for any harm (mapa physical, psychological, cultural harm etc.), weighing the practical vs statistical significance -confidentiality Dito po ay discuss mo paano ihahandle yung data, discuss mo yung setting, how findings will be disseminated maging yung deletion ng data yung iba sinasama din nila ito na maiparating sa mga respondents bilang part ng res.ethics Iba pang minimal factors na dapat iconsider sa res.ethics yung Avoiding deception, dont deceive your participants, dont give them false hopes,tapos pati yung reward or token, iiwasan din na magbigay, kasi makakaapekto ito sa result, sa pagsasagot nila sa instrument mo.

I don't understand how you can post an educational video on a public platform in your home language. Speakers of this particular language like mixing with English. Stick to one, now we are here listening and suddenly you switch to your native language and now the rest of us are lost. It's just common sense man 😡
