I was wondering where this went, you used to be able to set a spec to always be a certain role when you joined a group right

@@gijsvandenwijngaard9251 yup, right clicking character portrait you could set role/change role on the fly and setting role in talent page would set what auto role you got assigned joining groups. Now only way is for group leader to do role check but it only lasts for that group

@@nicoperez9984 highly doubt it. It's settled abit so i'm back to 50/50 on WoW and BG3. But i have my 4 tanks all geared and ready. My 2 mains are 9.6k and 9.3k (dk and warr tank). Druid is at 9k GS and pally is just 85 ready for a next patch or whenever i feel like it. Currently raiding on 2 characters for my guild, i wont get burned out for a while xD besides, all my friends came back so theres loads of people to play with. The only thing i'm burned out on are the heroics, especially as a tank the reps you need are alot(except for druid). I'm just happy you don't need the entire VP cap lol

I had a lot of fun in SoD tbh. I am of course currently playing Cata bc phase 3 was dog ish after 1 week. I’m excited to at least try phase 4 out. Hopefully this whole season was a beta for a real Classic +.

Love love the idea about Justice pts and heirlooms bc i have justice pts just sitting and no im not goung to buy 2-3 stacks of cloth 😂. But buying an upgrade to heirlooms (to increase max level etc) similar to the upgrade u can buy for the ring in Dalaran would be sweet!

they added in the changes because we know when titan rune style dungeons drop, the valor points will become fairly moot. you will get essences or tokens which will be how you buy the gear like it was in Wrath. not like the changes will have that major of an impact later on down the line. which is why I wasnt surprised by the valor cap and dungeon increases when they were announced.

I’m 350 arms warrior and I’m still stuck with a heroic 346 blue weapon. Anyone know if in the future there are any epic craft able 2h weapons with blacksmithing? Want to get weapon enchants but don’t want to blow the gold putting it on a blue lol

Imagine a QOL change to Archeology where if you solve 500+ items, you can just choose 1 item to get instead of being 90hours into digging and still not getting anything usable.

@@ablecdn1565 BIS trinket locked behind it my guy. I do arch while queued for other stuff, but why not add a path to obtain an account bound item? Just saying that it's the only profession that where your BIS is locked to a less than 1% RNG drop. Could dig 2x get BIS or you can dig 10000x and get nothing. Adding a QOL path to get something decent (especially since they'll only be BIS a few months) would be a good change.

We did bot 10man the other day, and all the trash was I think, quadrupled! So instead of 3 of those padding mobs they were in groups of 12! We confirmed it was set to 10 man. Went out reset and it resolved it

Thank god, idky they thought the acumulative cap on conquest and not valor was a good idea. Also, does this mean that my character whos going to hit 85 this week will be able to back cap the couple weeks I missed? Im also pretty sure the dark moon card decks are about to go up in price lol

If you do the 4800 or whatever is then next week you’d only be able to get 1600. It only accumulates over the “cap” if you miss points from previous weeks.

@@Cho-pk5zsIt does however treat any character that wasn't even able to get those points in the first place as "missing out". So if you just reached 85 and can do heroics you can earn all the points from previous weeks.

Fortunately I was reading the forums and it came out in a blue post in the evening. So I didn't spam the remaining heroics and just farmed some gold casually which was nice. It's always good to scan the Classic forums for Blue post before a reset see what's changing. Sorry you grinded them but at least it's done.

As buggy as Cata classic is right now, they are making some of the best qol updates by far. I've always loved Cataclysm, and somehow I'm loving it even more now. People coming from retail who have always hated Cata are obsessed with it right now. People saying "thats not my classic" are seeeeeething

you say you get 240 valor for completing every heroic, but that's not true. I'm not valor capped rn im 1300/6400 and currently my valor appears as red in dungeon finder.

expect the valor is bugged as fuck and alot of people are just getting there valor locked up to where everytime they do heroics they don't get any even after waiting a day or two

I think the kicker here is, Blizzard is acknowledging the fact that their player base is getting older and can’t afford to sit at their computers for 8 hours a day like we did in OG Cata.

Unless they increased the amount you get per boss and RDF you’re still dedicating the same amount of time maybe even longer. With the weekly caps I felt like I did my job this week and not felt like I fell behind. Now everyone will have a full tier set if I don’t play for a few days and I’m behind

I mean, I thought I was just sticking to my main and 1 alt for now, but with this change im actually bringing up my 2 remaining alts from 80. Have u really done everything? My main isn't even half heroic geared yet, my alt has barely done a single hc raid, PvPing on both as well... And lets say u do cap everything off, the content cadence is relatively fast, u can just put the game aside until the next update. Ideally they want u done with S1 of Cata by mid August so u'd be hyped for War Within and buy that.

The problem with heirlooms potentially being usable to Level 85, is that they don't help you for your average ilvl score to get into dungeons for their ivl requirements. All heirloom items are Level 1 items, regardless of level. So you still need to annoyingly keep higher ilvl items in your bags to pass the ilvl check.

Yah I just keep higher ilvl in those slots so I can queue for dungeons while leveling. Sometimes I forget about it and de the items since they are green then can't queue for th3 dungeons i want specifically then off to ah again

In no iteration of WoW in current day is gear NOT handed to you pretty easily so you can get in to end game righy away. Blizzard realized more than a decade ago its not fun to progress at the rate of a turtle. You need to wake up and understand no one finds it fun anymore and they havent for more than a decade now

Wrong! This is a remake of the old game. It's not new. It's more fun to get gear and then get alts as well. This isn't mean to be progression like retail it's mean to be fun.

well now DK is just gonna be the only tank anyone will allow because speed is even more of a factor. people will see a prot warrior and leave group, get on an alt, wait out the 30 minute penalty, and then log back on and hope for a DK tank next queue.
