You are gorgeous as usual ! Tangerines are Yoongi's favorite fruits ^^ Hate toward BTS was - and still is - brutal, it's heartbreaking and infuriating...but they always manage to stay positive. They are so inspiring !

It's sad how this literally started since day 1 and didn't stop, never. People just talk bad about them EVERYWHERE, in TV, radio, political media, k-pop fandoms, the music industry, etc. Since I entered this fandom, it's been so hard, reading hate comments about them, about us, every damn time I watch a video or a post. It's heartbreaking and sometimes I just ended up fighting over something I know it's pointless :( But BTS only shared love and kindness, they have their pride and confidence but they NEVER directly responded to this type of attacks, just tell ARMY that we can fight hate with love💜 and they always make sure that we don't worry, even when we know how this type of things affects them. "Louther Than Bombs" really show case all of this pain and how suffocated they feel about all of this💔

yep, i knew this video would make you emotional... now you know why so many armys are so defensive when it comes to bts cuz the hate still goes on till this day. recently on twt, if you praised rm as a big account, a bunch of antis would attack you in the quotes. some people have deleted their rm tweets because of all the hate. and it's not just army tweet. there was a tweet where soobin from txt praised rm that got deleted cuz there were so much hate in the quotes... ah november 2018 was probably my most traumatic time on army twt. i remember it vividly because it was such a hard time and we were both frustrated with everyone and worried about the boys' safety. the issue with jimin's shirt brought in online attacks from right extremists in Japan to the point that many fans were worried of disruptions happening at the bts JP concerts that were happening soon at that time (love yourself tour Nov 13-Nov 24 2018 was in Japan). bts and armys were attacked by all other fandoms on twt and other kpop forums, even by fandoms who had a member wear the exact same shirt before. then this whole issue got picked up by western media, specifically a jewish human rights organization - Simon Wiesenthal Center - which accused bts of mocking the past and supporting fascist germany. so somehow bts got accused of supporting both atomic bomb nazis due to this whole incident which was weird af cuz imperial jp and nazi germany were on the same side in ww2... anyway, in the end, some smart armys made the white paper project to document this entire incident and correcting all the misinformation that was being spread as well as documenting the history between Korea and JP since WW2 that led to shirts like Jimin's being a thing. it's quite comprehensive, a 133 page long pdf in English, and the website is still up today, so you can see how big that incident got: whitepaperproject.com/en.html

It was anti's and fans of other groups who started the Jhope petition... Army would never speak about any of the members like that... The death threats were strictly to interrupt their concerts... because a lot of antis/other fandoms realised that BTS were gaining fans and popularity....

Always happy for a bts reaction from you. Ive never understood hate especially among other kpop groups/fans and even more among fans within the bts fandom. I enjoy other kpop songs and bands even if i dont spend a lot of time listening to them outside of bts. They definitely have my soul but i would never talk down about any group just because they arent bts. Also its insane how someone as sweet and open as you can get hate and death threats. Its hard not to let that stuff effect you even if you know its just something that is going to happen because of putting yourself out there. Its just crap. Also you always look on point. Blackpink company did a lot of manipulation and cheating for the sake Bp.+Also, the fans of other groups who are most upset are EXO toxic fans +Everyone was fighting them and you were asking why? the accusations against mbc have being proven true recently because they've only came to an agreement 2 months ago (October 2023, so it took them 4 years to admit their wrongdoing). MBC agreed to the following terms so future hybe groups would start appearing again on their shows: -they would no longer use their position as a national broadcaster to force appearance in programs and awards shows, won't demand unilateral changes to fit their production schedule and won't Restrict appearances without consultation.

I've been know BTS since 2014 but back then I was just kid who's enjoying their music and their videos, didnt even know they're going through such things. they're giving a funny neighbor bros who always invite me to a exciting afternoon outing after a tiring school, they're so approachable to me with their openly knowing personalities. knowing their true story makes me respect them even more it was 2016 when I finally realize that they've been through so much for years, the moment they won their first daesang makes me realize that the hate was always there, why everyone hating it so much that they won??? it takes me to point where I want to protect them. being in this journey with them remind me that it's not that bad to live in this world cause there're 7 nice guys I knew. I feel so proud that they still remain the same bangtan I know years ago

BTS often helped them, surprised them with food, treated them like younger brothers. TXT often says that BTS helped them through the fact that BTS dealt with so many hardships and TXT members can go to them for (or could before all enlisted) for advice. They were some of BTS’ cheering team! They all met and there are several videos behind the scenes. Also, please check out Suga’s Suchwita talk show with TXT. Hi again! I also love the old song Boy in Love. The lyrics are really tame when you think about it and I’m not offended at all. And in another old MV, Jin pushes a girl into a locker but he kept apologizing after takes. I love that MV too! I think you’d like them bc you said in another reaction that you like old school BTS. I saw one person comment that you could look up the history between Japan and Korea. Yes, Japan invaded Korea. I’m Japanese Canadian and they are talking about extreme conservative Japanese. I felt as that was part of my heritage history and am not happy about what happened, I hope people learn from mistakes…my sister is married to Korean and there is a mix of backgrounds in my family from all over the world. This video always makes me mad. The beginning...the garage...yeah, they recorded there. MAINLY because that was during American Hustle Life. They were mid-album production when they came to L.A. to do the show. They couldn't just stop working on the album for the 3 weeks they were were. Being "nobodies" over here (2014, they weren't quite as "worldwide" yet), well... 1 - That was the only space they HAD to record. While there are many recording studios in/around L.A., it was the time issue more than anything. They'd stop filing the show usually around 8 PM, then they'd be up all night (in that garage) working on music until dawn. Most studios simply aren't open 24/7, so when they were up working on their music, all of the actual studios were closed. 2 - Garages generally tend to have GREAT acoustics. Many artists start by playing/recording in their own garages here in the U.S. Even after "hitting it big", it's not uncommon to use a garage (or a bathroom) for recording. 3 - Note that in South Korea, garages are NOT common. They probably didn't even know it WAS a garage/what the space was actually "supposed" to be used for...at first. SK does have parking garages when it comes to certain stores/offices, but garages attached to homes? It's *almost* unheard of. Due to the small land mass and huge population, South Korea tends to build "up" rather than "out". High rise buildings are everywhere - office space, department stores, and, of course, apartments. Few homes - if any - in the bigger cities even have yards, never mind the space for a garage. Garages are just...not usually seen in South Korea. Thus, to present it as they were "forced" to record in a garage isn't - exactly - 100% accurate. Yes, they had to, but it wasn't because BigHit was "that broke" or the company wanted to make them miserable or...whatever other reason fans may come up with. It was just...they did what they had to do to keep working on their album when they were 6,000 miles away from home.

Korean media institutions have blacklisted BTS for over a decade. Other agencies attempted to get their idols exempted from military services without giving it to BTS. That pathetic little scheme didn't work. Mind you, if you're talking about contribution to Korean prestige, there is no one else remotely close. The whole Korean exemption system needs to be trashed, it's full of mutual hand rooting.

The anti's were fans of groups from the big 3 Kpop agencies. They realised BTS were the next big thing and from a tiny kpop company and considered them to be beneath everyone else and they didn't want a group from a tiny company being better than their groups from the Big 3 kpop companies. But it didn't work even though these other fandom's worked together to try to distroy BTS. BTS where and are still the best the Kpop industry can offer. They were going to succeed even with the whole Kpop industry against them. They were and are just too good. They are a once in life time group.

Faker is a gamer, not an athlete, and yup, they actually gave him an exemption for winning a world trophy in gaming. It is so laughable that BTS who have done 3 speeches at the United Nations and the White House somehow do not earn exemption. It's probably better that they are doing it anyway. They would probably have hate if they were given an exemption. No matter what they do, they get shit on.

I think a huge part of the hate for BTS comes from how they're steadily rising in fame and competing with the biggest groups at the time despite being "outsiders" or not being from a Big 3 company. A lot of kpop communities tend to pretend BTS don't exist. Even in votings and hate campaigns etc it's common to see multiple fandoms teaming up against army. For example choosing a group they don't even stan just to boost that group's votes and be able to compete against BTS.
